Well ... apparently the lady in my original post was quite new to this whole thing since she's still new to the online date sites and the old bf just got twisted with his own life. Seems he is an okay guy and doesn't know she got frustrated which led her to getting online... I'm actually the first guy she met in person that she ran into on the date sites. Maybe that causes her some apprehension. Probably still a bit mystified by it all.

I love the well preserved older ladies! The hard thing to find is one who still has a flat tummy..... too, its is really so hurtful and pitiful when some obviously get out of shape and do nothing about it....for that reason I pretty much have given in to sniffing of the younger women simply to broaden my possibilities. Age has little to do with it...just whatever appeals to me...size hardly even matters, it's more about the person...the total package.

If I had any money to play with I'd be buying stock in a few days.... I know nothing about trading but have a friend who's deep into commodity trading.

BTW... I would not doubt that the whole impetus for the 9/11 attack was for the oil barrons of the middle east to increase their wealth...surely the American's who invested in oil as well as all people all over the world who invested in oil have had a huge windfall profit from the 9/11 attack.

In response to:
Just to clarify - I am in no way anti-American or xenophobic.

I Just hate the way people in power, whichever president, minister or businessman, simply solve problems with money or mouse clicks over guided missile launches.

Had I the money to do it, I'd rebuild the twin towers exactly how they were and throw two boeings through them, just to prove the impossibility of the tower collapsement being due to a plane crash.

American experts themselves know that the twin towers were designed to withstand multiple plane crashes.

I therefore apologise for any Americans getting offended with my previous post. There are Bright and Wise people in USA that know the truths behind 9/11 but cannot talk as they have their own life to safeguard.

Let's just all make sure nothing similar repeats itself. We all have our families, we are all carrying the cost incurrance not only of fuel surcharges since 9/11, but now even an invisible but tangible surcharge on our daily bread and cereal products due to the need for reverting to new fuels other than black gold.

Have A Happy New Year.
GIVE ME A BREAK! I guess you believe that Elvis is till alive? That's the most insidious thing I've heard. Tho' the twin towers could withstand plane crashes it was plainly evident that they withstood the crashes...were you blind? Did you not see the videos? The planes were fully loaded with fuel, it was the heat from the fire which weakened the structure and caused them to collapse... wow... just another out to bash Americans...get a grip and get real....

In response to:
I was discussing the Regan quote, about us being a "Nation under god". You mentioned the unalienable rights, that's how we got on the "rights" thing.

I know you're not saying that atheists don't have rights, I was arguing the point of where our rights come from.

We did get off topic!!!
Hard for me to stomach reading the whole thread... I do know that nothing justified what happened on 9/11 and I don't have answers for the war in Iraq. I do know that the hatred blamed at the U.S. is not my fault or my problem and the Islamic zealots are true sick people.

but... KEV... check it out... there is a thing called the plege of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America.... ONE NATION, UNDER GOD, WITH LIBERTY AND JUSTICE FOR ALL... Twisting crap does not make one sound very intelligent....best to know the source...should have learned that by the time you were in the 2nd Grade... Oh my bad, do they not allow the pledge of allegiance anymore?

The really sad thing is that I've done things that I can't even discuss publicly... that's what I regret most...and no way to change what happened or the outcome....well, I'm still changing and the outcome is just life....

Well, I'm not one to pass by an opportunity... but I can agree... too bad you can't come to an agreement and understanding that will allow both of you to simply deepen your friendship and respect for each other by helping her out with that little problem.....
Let me add... both my 2nd and 3rd wives were my best friends. We're still friends to this day. It was the marriage that screwed up everything....not the sex. We never had an argument till we got married.

Yes... it is one of the things that seriously affected me emotionally in my 1st marriage. She and I had go through several extremely emotional and traumatic experiences in the two years we were married. For those reasons I never understood why she could leave me like she did. We lost our first child at the end of the first trimester. I had been up all night studying for final exam in a chemistry class. One of the most horrible and chilling experiences a young man could experience when he truly loves and cares about his wife. It was only 33 years ago and still hurts just remembering what she went through and how I felt so hopeless and powerless to do anything. We both blamed ourselves with it and had lots to work through. She definitely did not go through it alone although she probably felt that she did.

Been there, done that...don't want any more but gladly will accept whatever she presently has. For sure tho, if I were in a much younger age group there are a lot of pluses to not having children...definitely financial and material things. I know several who use the opportunity of being childless to enjoy and help other family members and friends with their children. At this stage of the game I'd far more prefer a woman who can not have children... I'm so spoiled on older women now that I would rather she not even have a period! It definitely makes dating, sex, and life easier... but whoa buddy...menopause ...whew! That's a whole new ballgame that will throw your mind into a helluva tail spin....totally twisted!

I'd never have said anything negative about her kids or her family....just treated them like best friends rather than telling the truth. Then I'd still be with her and still be miserable because of her kids and her family. Well, that's what ya get when you take on the baggage!

Some 10 or so years ago I was cruising the date sites and actually met several women to which I almost married the one who I grew to dearly love and respect but moved out on me back in August. That was a very successful relationship that grew from meeting on the internet. However, there were a few that I recall that we had a great friendship online. I met more than one in which as soon as we met it meant the end of all friendship and all ties. There was plenty of fire and plenty of chit chat online but totally a dead silence when we met... Anyone else have these kinds of experiences?

I have a good friend, sweet lady. she is lonely and said to me the other night. "I haven't had sex in years. I haven't met anyone that I would want to have sex with" Then she turned to me and looked me in the eye and said"..except you! And I don't want to ruin our relationship by bringing sex into it" I agree with her 100%

In response to:
The mind is only limited by the boundaries we create within ourselves...

in believing we have them...

I don't believe that...
We have far too many past experiences and trained behaviors as well as what we've been taught that present the boundaries or even blocks thoughts. Getting around all that to an untethered mind presents us with a tabla rasa in which there are no rules and no direction therefore no guidance to new experiences. But the actual ability of the mind in a lineal fashion to go in one direction is by all definitions limitless.
