Went on a date tonight that ended badly! I met this young lady a few months ago and at that time I was a carpenter. Since then we hadn’t spoke till this morning when I asked her out.

We went to the Longhorn Steakhouse and began enjoying a nice supper and catching up. When I told her I now am a repoman and bail enforcement officer. She flew into a rant about what a bottom feeder I am and how sorry it is for me to do this job…………..WOW!!!

I am amazed at this blow out response from who I thought was a very nice young lady!

Do you believe in...

the existence of an invisible intelligence that operates beneath the visible surface of life? That the mystery of life is an expression not of random accidents but of one intelligence that exists everywhere? Is such an intelligence believeable, or should you continue to believe in random events and chance causation?

Did you know that...

In Africa, certain tree that are being overforaged can signal other trees miles away to increase the tannin in their leaves, a chemical that makes them inedible to foraging animals. The distant trees receive the message and alter their chemistry accordingly.

Fireflies in Indonesia numbering in the millions are able to synchronize their flashes over an area of several square miles.

To read this sentence, several million neurons in your cerebral cortex had to form an instantaneous pattern that is completely original and never appeared before in your life.
What'dya think???

Nope

Since a very long time ago, people have searched for the meaning of love. But even the great philosophers, with their profound definitions, could not fully touch its true essence. In a survey of 4-8 year olds, kids share their views on love. But what do little kids know about love? Read on and be surprised that despite their young and innocent minds, kids already have a simple but deep grasp of that four-letter word.

"Love is that first feeling you feel before all the bad stuff gets in the way."

"When my grandmother got arthritis, she couldn't bend over and paint her toenails anymore. So my grandfather does it for her all the time, even when his hands got arthritis too. That's love."

"When someone loves you, the way she says your name is different. You know that your name is safe in her mouth."

"Love is when a girl puts on perfume and a boy puts on shaving cologne and they go out and smell each other."

"Love is when you go out to eat and give somebody most of your french fries without making them give you any of theirs."

For me it was 25 yrs ago when my daughter was three!

My ex-wife, in all her wisdom at the time, decided it would be a good idea to teach the kids about the human anatomy at as early a age as possile for them to learn so they would'nt be embaressed by peers at a later date. My ex was new in the medical field at the time, so she saw no harm.

Whenever she would give our daughter a bath, she would join her and answer any questions she might have.

On Christmas Eve, of my daughters 2nd birthday, I took her with me to a nearby Mall to get my wife's
Christmas presents. While we were there, we just happened to run into our neighbors teenage daughter who had just started a new job there and happened to be my daughters baby-sitter as well. I stopped to say hello and how did she like her new job! We chatted for a couple of minutes and as we were leaving, my daughter blurted out, " I bet she has a vagina, does'nt she ,daddy?"

God must have been observing all this and know what was about to occur in advance and so He blessed me with the quickest come-back I ever had.

I told her, " No.sweetheart, I believe she drives a Ford Escort."

I am sure she was heard, but I made a very hasty exit and was thankful that it was'nt worse.

that’s a funny story, leave to a child to put it out there!

But personally, I don’t embarrass easily, in fact I cant even remember the last time.peace

dont have a go - it is just something that came into my inbox and I thought id throw it out for comment

I must admit though - I have come close to thinking this way more than once - in fact........... maybe life would be a whole lot easier if we all didnt expect quite so much from each other in the way of fidelity.......

dont get me wrong please - I am a one man woman and the age that I am now sure has me wishing for that 'one man' but Im just wondering if we maybe ask too much in expecting lifetime commitments from a partner since life expectations went up so dramatically in the last 50 yrs?

I am a dog and I know I am a dog………… but I am not nor have I ever been a cheating dog. I just don’t do it, I was cheated on once and I know how it feels. Been there and know how it feels.professor

I've noticed, and not just of late, that most guys profiles specify age ranges way younger than themselves. I saw one just now, he was 38, said age range 18-28. Another 38 wanted women 25-30.

Now, I dont wanna seem ageist or anything, but I just wonder what would a 25 year old have in common with a 38 year old?? I know tastes in music etc are not necessarily age-related but come on guys!!! Surely you are more likely to find common ground with a woman nearer your own age ?

I suspect that a 38 year old may have sown his wild oats and want to settle down and have kids, in which case he has better chance with younger women.... but a fifty-something, who wants a thirty-something ?? That's TWENTY years, for **** sake !

If women were to specify guys fifteen to twenty years younger than them, we would be villified, laughed at, scorned etc etc.... So what do all you guys and gals out there think ??

Well, I dated a 23 year old, she was beautiful, sexy and funny. But, we just couldn’t get on the same page………….I dated a 46 year old and she was less mature than the 23 year old. So, who knows??????????????

Interesting emotion and can happen to us, be felt by us, in any relationship.

I must admit to having jealous in my time, with my ex husband and the amount of time he would spend on the phone in the evenings when he was at home.

Do you think we all have a degree of jealousy in us, what is your threshold for your jealousy streak rearing it's head?

Are you jealous if your partner looks at another, vocalises they find another person attractive?

Define jealousy.

Interesting Friday afternoon discussion, or Friday morning.

Nope, not me............... had women try to make me jealous, they didnt like the lack of responce one bit. even if i get jealous, you would never know it...............
