A curious sidenote.....the Monkees demise was due in part because the mother of Michael Nesmith, created White Out...or liquid paper in their kitchen, while Michael Nesmith was trying to become one of the Monkees.

The Monkees began in 1966 and not long after became a hit......but White Out turned out to be more lucrative.

in 1967 Michael Nesmith & The Monkees had the #1 record.....in 1971 his mother sold 2 million bottles of Liquid paper...

By the end of the 70's the Monkees disbanded and the Liquid Paper company was sold for $47.5 million dollars.

One of my very best friends just went to the last of 6 funerals. A very clean cut and together group of young men, were driving home after a night full of basketball at a local gym.....

when the car all 6 were in.....was run off the road..(the investigation pointed at this scenerio)....

All 6 were killed when their car met a telephone pole. The official report says that at least 3 and maybe all 6 would have survived had someone contacted 911......instead they were left to die....1000 yards from gas station restaurant and grocery store....

the person who finally contacted 911 was a migrant farm worker...who was walking the 11 miles from his home to his job.



these 6 young had been together since they were babies....4 were cousins and the other 2 had brothers and sisters who were married into the other families..........



wow! really did not expect to put all that out thee....but the tragic momment in Jadegirls world....kinda brought it all to the surface.....

wine making is a delicate dance between the grapes and the water.

spent many years in the Napa Valley......watched kendall jackson fine wines being made by wine master Don Sterling.....do not know much about wine making. what little I have learned makes clear that to much or too little water for the vines or in the processing can be the difference between wine and vinager.
