some people might not like me-but they know ill be consistent

Mindful,
I think I know where you're coming from and believe it or not I've never thought you were anything but an intelligent person that wasn't afraid to tell it like it is (according to you, which I don't mind 'cause I usually agree)

The first month I was here I think I 'left' 5 times, totally disgusted with the place......
but now I'm afraid I think I'm here to stay.Call it loneliness, boredom, masochism, learning experience, whatever.......I agree, it's better than nothing and people should not be so easily alienated from it.

we all walk a fine line now and again

these threats and veiled threats sadden me

there have been at least 100 that stirred up this same type of conversation in the last 2 yrs
i hate for anyone to have to feel they are such a piece of crap
they are the biggest problem the special world of CS has ever seen

comeon trish
we both need a good row i tink
and i know we'd get up laughin and kissin so what say you?
i cant WAIT to meet

honetly-CS has been a huge tool(joke away) in my learning to disagree and not having it effect my eelings for a person

for me that is more of a wonder and betterment than i could explain

Yeah. thumbs up
I can see that.

I voted for ''point out rules on abusive behaviour'' (pull 'em up, basically)........'cause that's what I did on someone else's behalf the second day after I joined.

I really was shocked at what had been posted and I was basically told in response that if I didn't like it , I should report to the mods.So the next time it happened, I did report (for the first and last time).I was advised by mods to ''lighten up''.....

Looking back, I don't regret speaking up (never got personal) and I would do it again and again if I thought I had to.

I can't ignore. If someone's attacking me I don't really care (seriously) but the thought that someone else is being attacked and feeling alone with noone to support or come to their defence really makes me sick.

Having said that, more than one person coming to anyone's defence feels like ganging up and also makes me sick.

I would NEVER report again 'cause I thought that was useless.

2 PEOPLE SO FAR HAVE OPTED FOR ''OTHER SUGGESTION''........Could they say what that might be??

''Fools rush in where angels fear to tread.'' (I think it's a proverb)

Do you agree?

Have you ever rushed in?

Do you have a habit of rushing in.....?

I would be livid if that happened to me - violated, I carry all kinds of stuff in my bag which wouldnt be of value to anybody else, even I dont know what they are half the time lets face it who needs an empty book of stamps or half a dozen bus tickets, but they are mine along with whatever else may be in there.

What a sad state of things in the world that people are driven to do this sort of thing

WANNA TALK ABOUT BEING PICK POCKETTED/HAVING YOUR BAG SNATCHED EXPRIENCES INSTEAD???

Sorry about the use of capitals, but I didn't know how else to change what I just figured was a boring thread....

My pocket was picked 3 years ago on the trolley-bus when I was on crutches....

I always imagine it would be more important to me if I had kids.....uh oh!
I think objects can provide a comforting sense of continuity to some people....people often feel the need/like to pass things on to their children dunno

I saw a woman's bag snatched by a guy on a motorbike this morning. She was pretty upset, to say the least. So would I have been.

Maybe 'sacred' is the wrong word, I probably just mean 'important'.....

Anyway, everything from trinkets to heirlooms to your house or land being 'the only thing that matters' (like the red earth of Tara was to Scarlett).....
