If you don't like paying so much for gas, learn to drive less. Get out and bike or walk places instead of being another fat, lazy, self-centered person. Sure, a big enough boycott might hurt someone - the gas stations. They don't control the prices though, so you're lashing out at innocents. If you think your efforts will impact the gas suppliers, whose supply is less than current demand, you're completely wrong, precisely because demand is so much greater worldwide than they can supply. They'll just turn and sell to other buyers who are wiling, and used to payng the higher amounts. We've been spoiled for years by undervalued oil because our nation was the dominant consumer and could negotiate the prices down. We aren't anymore, nor are we in particularly good graces in the world's market, so you will either have to get used to paying the same price for gas as the rest of the world, or else you'll have to invest in some alternate fuel or form of transportation. The best you can hope to accomplish with your petty boycott is to hurt a few local businessmen, who are probably nice people in your community. Is that the difference you want to make?
Lemme guess... your a local bussinessman right,LMAO!! I believe the only thing petty about it woult be the one's calling it so, not willing to TRY do do anything to sit back and take it up the butt!!
