Unfortunately politics play a significant role in the work place.
I have known and seen the false respect shown by my superiors and
their employees. When it comes to raising and providing for my son.
I feel it is necessary to show respect to my superiors. Regardless if
I feel they are worthy of my respect or not. It's my obligation as a
mother and as a human being to show respect and courtesy towards
others. Besides I'm only concerned with answering for my actions
not the actions of others.

I have felt the fake respect shown by others and I see it as
still a form of respect. Could be worse. I would rather be shown
respect in it's meekest form. Then to not be shown it at all.
My respect is given honestly and without judgment. That to me is
the truest form there is.

I have heard the phrase that respect is earned. At one time in my life I really believed that was true. But honestly, my view at the current is respect is drawn from the heart. Regardless of how others have and will treat you. Just focusing on my life on the daily. Won't allow others to weigh me down due to lack of or false respect.
Very enlightening thread...Thank you sweetie.

Yes, I do understand your view.
Must say it's a very good one at that.
thumbs up

The anger is what I can relate to.
A broken heart can and has been known to bring
out the not so pretty side of a person. Once it passes
your right back to the hurt. Haven't really figured out
which is worse. The anger can cause regret later.
Depending on the circumstances. I've been there
unfortunately. As have others, I suppose. ty...

The beach...

Sound of the waves crashing, listening to the seagulls as they sing,
feeling the cool coastal breeze, as the salt water runs over your feet
and the sand beneath is taken away little by little. Walking hand in
hand with your special someone. *smiling* Enjoying the peace that comes over you at that very moment. Just beautiful...

Sorry to hear that...
Everything happens for a reason.
You may not know why now. But you
will eventually. Try not to live in the past.
Focus on the future. That's where your happiness
can be found. Chin up, this will pass.
