AND!!... said.. 'Claire if you are still not with anyone in 2010.. we could get engaged at the May Day celebrations in Padstow, live in a big farmhouse with lots of chickens, we are not getting any younger'

Speak for you bloody self mate!

Hehehe.. I laughed too, but wasnt going to admit it on here!! lol!! Still was rather blunt though, whoever sent it is lucky you have a good sence of humor!! But I suppose everyone on here already knows you do!! lol!!

I cant believe the nerve of your ex!! What a horses patute!! In 2010!! LMAO!! So I wonder what he has going on until then... LOL!! Thats just crazy!! Live in a farmhouse with lots of chickens!!! LMAO!! Ok, so the farm house wouldntbe bad I dont think, but chickens are just nasty little creatures!! My son got three chicks for easter one year, they were died green, red, and yellow... they all turned out to be roosters, and noisy and nasty!!

I like the way he is asking you out on a date, trying to say sorry for the past, hey wanna go to dinner, nothing! Just hey if your single it would be convienient for me to uh hook up with you so I dont die a lonely old jerk... I mean man... Thats just a great way of asking someone to marry you!!

Thanks for that, I needed another good laugh today!! Its barely 9 in the morning and I already have tears in my eyes from laughing so hard on cs this morning!!!

OMG!! That is too funny Ship!! I have never done that, but my best friend had put her grandson into the tub for a bath last summer while I was there, we got preoccupied gossiping about this that and the other, went to the back of the house to do something, and passed the bathroom... the carpet in her hall was completely flooded!! It pulled her lynolium up off her floor, and she had just remodeled her bathroom the week before!!! It was horrible!! We got the carpet shampooer and just sucked it all up, it was like 3 inches deep in the bathroom and flowing like a waterfall over the top of the tub and running down her hall!! It was crazy, but hilarious at the same time as her grandson was just leaning over the side of the tub watching the waterfall!!

It happens!! But hey at least you dont have to pay for it and you get your floors cleaned at the same time!!

LMAO!!!

Aww, I wish I was there to help!!! I would do it in a heart beat!! It really is tons of fun!! And who knnows, maybe after a while the color will grow on you! Once you put all of the furnishings in maybe it wont seem to jump out at you so much!!

You could try adding a little brown- A Little- to your paint that you already have to try and darken it a little, or white to lighten... Then paint over top of what you have?? Only do a small spot and wait until it dries before deciding if you like it!! I am no painting expert though, just seems logical, though I have never attempted it and really have no clue how it would turn out!!laugh

WOW Claayer!! What a project!!! I wish I was there!! I love interior design!! In fact I had to design a community center last semester, the actual building, where all the equipment was, the furniture that needed to be inside, the tile, the paint color, the fabrics to be used, the color of the furniture, the plants... the whole 9 yards!! It was TONS of fun!! I loved it!! I made what is called a finish board... ummm it may help you... you make a board.. like a thick poster board, a poster board would work, and you put all the colors on there. Like since you painted your wall two colors, you would paint the top half of the board the cream color, and the bottom half the red color then put the railing through the middle. Then you take a piece of fabric the same color as your bedspread, and find a piece of metal the same color as your bed/fireplace. You dont tear up your stuff though to do this!! lol!! I went to Walmart and dug through their clearance bins in the arts and crafts section and found most of what I needed. For the metal, I just went to the hardware and bought a set of door hinges the color that I wanted, it was the cheapest way to go!! lol!! We were supposed to spend less than 50 bucks on our finish board, so the clearance isle was the way to go!!

I think you get the point, just get all of the colors and textures that you have, and put them all together in one place so that you can see how everything goes together and see what you need to go with it to make it all match... and you can take it with you when you go shopping to find more stuff!!

You could try it if you want!!!

Oh and yes I got an A for the project as well as the class!! So yes I do know what im talking about!! lol!!
