My ex wife's sister had spinal Bifida (Spelling check?) and mild Downs. Stem cell research might not have saved her, but the research could help us under stand the desease and prevent it happening to others.

The worry I've heard most is promoting abortions to get the material they need.

Umbilical Chord Blood is just as effective.

I support research, but my worry is that the wealthy will be the biggest benefactors while those who need it the most will go unattended. Thank goodness for the Shriners Hospitals and like organizations who will help anyone. They will benifit from these programs and that's good.

I think children should be helped in anyway possible, but I don't see it working out that way.
Thought you might be interested in knowing, the federal government does fund cord blood stem cell research.A law got passed and the aim with it is to get enough geneticall diverse cross sections of cord blood units to help 90% of the patients who need it.100% would be better but right now 90 will work.Hopefully women will become aware of this and won't mind donating after delivery.

Hello Everyone, MsPetite here from Ohio, How do you guys feel about long-distance relationships. can they really work?
It depends on what you mean by long distance, here in the states or out of the US?Here in the states would be easier but it's still hard.I've tried both and they didn't work for me.I applaud the ones it works for .I know both parties had to work really hard at it and really want to be together.

I have been dumped in the past, as I'm sure everyone has. I have often wondered why after giving your heart to someone that they don't give you no explanation, no chance to talk about it, even if it is to say it's not working. Just "Bam" leave me alone! My ex cheated several times, I forgave her a few times because I loved her. When the day came she said to leave her alone I did. Now she wants me back. No dice. Another one dropped me and had her own reasons I guess, I was never told why. Now something has happened and it has me pretty shook up, yet I can't even tell her I hope all goes well or that I am sorry this happened, she too had told me "leave me alone". Am I wrong for giving my heart to these women and caring about what we shared, even if it is not going to work between us? I am not being persistant and harassing them, etc. When they say "go" I do. Do you think they are just trying to say give me some space? If so, why do they say go? Kevin
women aren't the only ones that handle saying goodbye that way.Men in my experience are pretty evasive when it comes to ending the relationship too.I think a lot of people don't really know how to end one. They know the person they are in the relationship with is nice and it's not their "fault" that it isn't working so they create a big leave me alone scene.People deserve better than that but it's one thing that is never going to change. When it's over, it's over don't beat yourself up trying to figure out what you did or could have done differently. We've all been there and we all know it's confusing and it hurts.

My son has had to have therapy for rage.If you don't want to get therapy try some relaxation exercises, meditation, vigorous workout, yoga, wind chimes just see what works for you.And when you are calm try to figure out what causes the rage, not the thing that set it off but deep down why you have rages.I'm not a therapist,I grew up with my dad having rages and my son had them. There is a theory that they are inherited. Good luck.

is broken!

I KNOW I'm not ready to pack "it" up yet but I find it more and more difficult to get a thrill ... even a cheap one. Perhaps my libido is just out of practice.

Any volunteers, suggestions, or similar experiences?
Seriously doubt if anything is brokenlaugh As I've gotten older visual stimulus, just looking at a sexy guy making me feel horny, has been replaced with many other things. How sensual he is ,if he has a keen sense of humor, the things he says to me in the bedroom.Maybe it's a natural occurance maybe it's a maturity I don't know.confused.I still enjoy looking at a good looking man most women do but, it takes more than just good looks to really make love.

I'm not sure what the big deal is. Most people have the preconceived notion that prostitutes are unclean. They likely pay closer attention to hygiene and doctors visits than your average promiscuous female. However I do believe they likely have self esteem issues but what to you care if it's only for sex.
I'm not sure I know what the big deal is either.People have been doing the horizontal mambo since there were people some just charge for it.Depends on where you go how clean she'll be as far as diseases. Most are very careful. It's their bread and butter they can't afford to get something. If you do go to one pay the extra money and make sure she has her own rooms and not just the back seat of a car those are the ones you have to watch.
