Mabon, (pronounced MAY-bun, MAY-bone, MAH-boon, or MAH-bawn) is the Autumn Equinox. The Autumn Equinox divides the day and night equally, and we all take a moment to pay our respects to the impending dark. We also give thanks to the waning sunlight, as we store our harvest of this year's crops. The Druids call this celebration, Mea'n Fo'mhair, and honor the The Green Man, the God of the Forest, by offering libations to trees. Offerings of ciders, wines, herbs and fertilizer are appropriate at this time. Wiccans celebrate the aging Goddess as she passes from Mother to Crone, and her consort the God as he prepares for death and re-birth.
Mabon is considered a time of the Mysteries. It is a time to honor Aging Deities and the Spirit World. Considered a time of balance, it is when we stop and relax and enjoy the fruits of our personal harvests, whether they be from toiling in our gardens, working at our jobs, raising our families, or just coping with the hussle-bussle of everyday life. May your Mabon be memorable, and your hearts and spirits be filled to overflowing!

I do not believe that religion has much to do with divorce rates. I believe that most of the fault belongs to a few different things. One being people that get married when the have only known eachother for about a year. Two being young couples that do not understand what they are getting into. Again the fact that young couples do not really know the other person. Third being money issuses. Couples that have to struggle tend to argue more. Debating on what the money should be spent on.

here its alot different. ...her husband is deployed so she cant file charges or file for divorce or do anything really until he gets back in about a month. but when he gets back he is already going to be arrested for harrassment. and now fraud and idenity theft. ..but she is really worried about losing her kids ...

its not me..its the lady i babysit for.... her husband is nuts and has made a report to cps. ..and now my friend thinks she is going to lose her kids... her husband never said what he told them....just that she wont be seeing her kids for a while ...

Does anyone know what CPS (Child Protective Services) can and can't do?


Like can they come and take someones kids anyway on a false report? Do they have to look into it before they take the kids or can they take the kids and then look into it??

i've been in 6 car accidents 3 really bad ones.... i was never the driver ...but i have problems with my neck and back


i have fallen out of my attic ..landed on my back and the floor was like concrete b/c there was like no padding under the carpet.

i broke both the bones in my lower leg about 2 years ago and dislocated my ankle. had to have hardware put in and later taken out.

when learning how to ride a mountian bike i ran over this older kid and fliped the bike ...hitting my head on the road.

while swimming in a lake my foot got caught on a root and i was traped under the surface ..my friend gave me her snorkle so i could breathe while her dad got help

ive fallen and hit my head on a number of things

yea ..I'm getting the C-pap...I just find it odd that for more than 10 years none of my docters wondered about it. No one would take me seriously when I said I had problems sleeping and the amount of times I have been in the hosiptal ...that no one noticed it. the doctors also think it is why I have such a problem with my weight.
