Hey guys! First of all for those who dont know me, Im an oltimer here. Im one of the founding members of this site...second of all NO SYMPATHY PLEASE! This is just to unload in inform everyone why I havent been on much. I'll make this short and sweet and any support you wanna give will be highly appreciated!

First of all a month ago i found out my Liver shut down completely and is irreversible...those of you who know me know why. There is no Hepatitus or anything, its just failure due to my own stupidity (And NO I'm not an alcoholic) After the tests the docs gave me a cap of 2 years to live. about two weeks ago I find out my (R) liver has shut down and due to all this over 40% of my heart is dead, gone, not working....fin fini finito!!!! NOW after a BAD suicide attempt (*OD) 2 weeks ago that landed me in ICU for 2 weeks and behavioral health for a week, I'm starting ECT's (Electroshock therapy) this friday.

After all the news, 3 different docs have give me 6 months tops to live. I dont beat around the bush and I care about my freinds on here enough to share. Im humble enough to ask for all of your thoughts and prayers. My divorce from the ***** in AZ was final on the 7th but no one wants a half dead ex druggie musician that did this all to himself. The road,the travel the wild ass life as a fulltime musician helped in this matter so please...NO sympathy...Ive accepted it, Im a man and I can accept it but just please dont forget im still around...send the flowers while im alive and can enjoy them. Ive been here long enough i think tallbrunette will let me get away with saying if you care and are praying and thinkin call me at: (xxx)-xxx-xxxx and let me know you're out there and care. I agree with you on all you said...No I wasn't over-reacting because I honestly could care less, but you should realize that there are people who have been here for years that I've seen join since the site started and this is their life, their community and for some it's their only friends. Their ratings have hurt their feelings b/c they do take it more serious than most of us do. Yes, it is just about the cosmetics and yes it is shallow for one to rate someone based on appearance alone, but try telling some of them that...then there are the guys who get offended by members of the same sex rating them. Maybe its the subculture they were raised in. I had that problem too but it rwally doesn't mean s*** to me. I was just standing up fpr the ones who rely on this site since they have no other social life...some aren't strong like you,me and most of us and I brought up the issue in their behalf...its not the first time i've stood up for other members who don't want to lose friends and it definitely wont be the last. It's not an over-reaction to me, but to them it's crushing... I am an original member here and have seen these forums evolve and turn over many times. I've seen alot of crazy stuff here and met alot of awesome people. Some can't take my outspokeness but I try to respect everyone except those who intentionally try to cause trouble. No matter how petty a problem may seem to us, if it bothers that many people to email me asking for a voice, it's my responsibility as a friend to speak their mind. Sorry if I offended anyone EXCEPT those who intentionally hurt those who are afraid of speaking their mind. I respect everyones opinion and I also suggested they turn off the photo rating on their profile. over-reaction? to us...yes, but to them...absolutely not.

Ok so I'll re-open it..I SAID...which are probably the HATERS! and again, if it's not those doing it, it wasn't meant for them. I was insinuating that most of those who don't supportit are probably the ones doing it, not all and I still meant what I said...TO THE HATERS. I don't think you are a hater nor do I think you had anything to do with it. I apologize if you took what I said as anyone who doesn't support it...that's not who I meant. I'm simply doing what about 19 emails of people / friends from this site asked me to do and yes, the Haters who are intentionally hurting my friends feeling by sabataging their ratings can kiss my southern ass! To be honest I could care less about the ratings either but I had boocoos of emails from alot of people I know complaining about this so I've tried to come up with a solution. I'm totally secure with me but alot on here who don't always voice their opinions scared of hurting someones feeling are insecure and it does bother them. I could rate mediocre people a 10 based on personality if I knew them...its just that certain morons like to stir trouble and over the years i've learned some people look at this site as a community of friends and get hurt by this. Those are the ones I speak up for.

Someone above suggested that my idea wouldn't work due to women having to list "woman looking for woman" so my idea may very not work. I'm up for any suggestions on how to present this to the mods.

Also since I posted this thread, my mailbox is overloaded with supporters. So my empathy is to them, not me, those who don't care or those who aren't affected. It's up to us who are strong and not scared to voice for those who are scared timid or just don't want to ruffle feathers. It doesn't bother me either but it does bother me that some people, namely ones I've known on here a long time are bothered by such childish actions. I'm just glad to see most aren't adversely affected by this. But the new ratings program is a hell of a good way to meet new people and thats what this site is all about.

Excuse me but I was referring to those who are intentionally sabataging the ratings...not those who don't support my efforts. This was meant for those who are uncomfortable with the haters on the site who not only rear their ugly heads on the rating, but also in these forums and degrading emails alot of my friends on here receive. Thanks for your input, but if it doesn't affect you then this thread wasn't meant for you. Every since 2004 we have tried to keep a level of contentment in the forums and on the site...I only advocate for those on issues that directly affect them. No one said those who don't support the effort was doing it, so ignore the issues that doesn't directly effect you. One of these days something may arise that does and i would advocate for that just as well. But I meant what I said no matter who likes it... ALL the haters can kiss my ass, go to h*** whatever or however you want to look at it.

Ok girls, I totally understand why you all rate other female photos. Women tend to be able to recognize physical beauty in each other and thats great. But guys...due to testosterone and pride, really don't have that ability nor desire, so why are some of you GUYS rating other guys photos? I've came to two conclusions...#1 either they are gay, (the higher ratings maybe; not that theres anything wrong with that) or #2 they are jealous and hate on those who are getting the higher ratings from the females. So what do they do? They go in and rate a 1 to lower other more popular guys ratings. I'm a southern boy and don't get down with the gay thing although I have no problem with those who are. I fully believe people should be who they are and be proud of it and I totally respect that if that's their thing. But those of you guys who are haters, get a f***ing life and lay off the other dudes pics. Makes me think you are actually looking at guys photos because you are possibly in the closet, or you want to sabatage the competition. Look...Don't hate the players here, hate the game. If you other guys, (or girls for that matter) have had the same problem, drop me a line. I'm a founding member of this site and I will be suggesting to my friends who moderate this site to fix this so that only members of the opposite sex can rate our pics unless they sign up male looking for male or female looking for female proving thei9r sexual preference when they sign up; We can't leave the homosexuals out. But this is a problem so if you are behind me, drop me an email with your support so I can submit my suggestion to "TB" and the other mods to possibly filter who rates who. I for one don't want jealous hating idiots to be able to sabatage any of our ratings... So for those of you who don't support this (which are probably the envious haters doing it) you can all all kiss this southern rednecks a**! I haven't read this in a while but I'm glad to see someone out there knows the difference in hillbillies and country folk. I live about 3 blocks from VA Tech Campus right in the middle of the Appalachian Mountains (and for those of you around the world, it IS NOT APP-UH-LAY-SHUN, it is APP-UH-LATCH-AN, named after the Appalatchee Indians). I love the sub-culture around these parts outside of the racism that is so prevailant here. I was raised in St. Louis most of my childhood and was raised to accept everyone as equals, but I'm sorry to say that there is no stigma attached to hillbilly, southern culture here other than ignorant people thinking they are uneducated, that simply is not the case. But it is what it is and for real. Moonshine is the #1 beverage and drug around here 2nd only to oxycontin (Hillbilly Heroin). But for the most part, Rednecks are rednecks and they are damn proud of it..nothing wrong with being proud of who you are no matter what heritage you come from. I'm not a hunter or drinker (not now after that last spill where I was posting drunk ( yea I feel like a complete ass for that) and I haven't ever sported a pair of overhauls, but it's in the heart and yea, I'm damn proud to be who I am, where I'm from, and what I've become. We all should be as thats what makes people in this world interesting. Fact: Larry the Cable guy has already entertained more people in the past 5 years than Gallagher has in his whole career. I'm getting ready to move back to Arizona but I will surely miss the security I feel in these mountains.
