Metija: what doesn't effect europe??? terrorist attacks??? you are kidding me....apart from the IRA attacks in recent years....and ETA in Spain....only last week an ex-mayor was assasinated by them on his doorstep....not to mention their constant car bombs....these are not muslim terrorists they're europeans...then we have many Al qaida linked cells in Germany, Spain, Uk etc....7 July 2005 London underground ring any bells for you....major terrorist attack !....didn't Madrid 11/3/2004 train bombings register on your radar ??? notwithstanding the 4 months of bombing linked again to Al qaida during the summer of 95.....and to top that....all major european airports are on constant terrorist alert.....and due to this vigilance many plots have been thwarted......not to mention terrorist attacks in the rest of the world....from turkey to yemen to indonesia to the phillipines to pakistan, Kenya, egypt and so on and so forth......the threat/problem isn't just an American one !

Sparky55: I met him and Sec Rice in Kuwait in January. I thought both were realy nice people. I have never believed either are the evil people some believe they are. I believe he's doing what he believes is best and he's not trying to pull the wool over everyone's eyes or he would be much more popular than he is. JMO

In my earlier post, I still maintain that he references it so the NO ONE forgets it. You have to understand, this country had slaves for the first 200 years, then 50 years of just terrible racist views and hatred--the last 50+ years racism has been getting straightened out a bit---history repeats itself is an appropriate quote....I'd hate to see that happen. Technically, I don't see it as hate rhetoric, but to each his own--you will see it how you want to... I still see it as understandable...
