When I had my children i was married to their fathers and wasn't planning on raising them alone.Luckily I do get child support for the youngest(oldest is married with children).He does not go without .May not get the latest toy or have a zillion things he doesnt need but he does not go without.If people are so concerned about kids living in poverty or not getting enough to eat then get off your butt and do something about it like adopt or donate money or even help your neighbor.The economy sucks ,we are all struggling.
As for other countries,we send food and the crooked politicos steal it so blame them not the mothers.

I am economically worse off which is statistically the norm.Divorce is expensive,emotionally draining and not a good way to earn money.cheaper to just run them over with the car and collect the life insurance...

If I found out from a third party that I was adopted ,I would be pissed.I have known since I was 5 that I was adopted.Now that the cat is out of the bag the mother needs to sit down with her daughter and answer any questions the daughter may have about the circumstances of her adoption.Personally I think the earlier you tell a child,the better.I always felt special.Good luck to your friend.

I'm on meds because I stood them for years ,got rid of them and then they hit me hard 4 yrs ago.I find meds,soft music and a walk all help.Being a single mom and just facing the world sometimes can be tough.
