my heart usually never understands who's good and who's bad around as for the family...should pay more attention to what they have to say

Well I at least like to think of myself as one. I don't lie or cheat, I try to think of my girls feelings, I know relationships are a two way road and am not above compromise, and I try to make sure she knows how I feel about her on a daily basis. I understand that two people are just that, two people. I am open and accepting of people for who they are and I try to change noone. And yes I am even one of those guys who still opens doors and slides out chairs for a woman. If I like someone I go out of my way to try and keep them happy and in good spirits. I know noone is perfect, but I do tend to think as myself as one of the good ones based on the actions I see from others around me.

Good guys out there do exist. But here is what usually happens from what i've seen. Good guy meets a girl. They start dating. After a little while the girl decides the relationship has become comfortable. She decides that sn't actually what she wants. So the girl leaves the guy and marrys a beer guzzling a** that beats her. After the good guy repeats this a few times he starts to get bitter. And usually the longing for companionship leads to him becoming the a** that all the girls seem to actually want. Everyday more good guys turn a** because they see it is what most girls respond to. I've seen it happen again and again. Myself I did not cave and turn into the a** and guess what. I've ended up single for over a decade! If any of you ladies really want a good guy we are around. And when you see a girl treating a good guy like trash. Keep in mind the world may be about to lose another one.
