RobbieM: Which Movie/TV "star" would you most like to take to the bathroom, then stick their head in the toilet bowl and pull the lever?

Some of these people shouldn't even be allowed in a car park never mind on the big screen.

Name the one you care for least!!! WE might know why you hate them, but it has plenty of scope for entertainment, so let rip.......

Some are pompus, some are clearly above us all, and some are as wooden as a barn door.

Name and shame people, lets let the PR people know who the turkeys are

Eva Longa-whats her name,from desperate housewives,the pompous ----

In a word....yesNow to expound. How many times have I read in a woman's profile(I don't read mens)...I know what I want and I won't settle!! Fine! Don't settle...but there might be someone out there that is just a little out of your scope. They just might be someone that will make you happy. But since it is all about you and what you want, don't give it a try!!

Portiea: Does contemporary society encourage narcissism—self love to the point of self-centeredness--?

It seems like, if we compare ourselves to earlier societies, people did not expect so much personal ‘fulfilment’ and easy gratification of all our desires and expectations.

I’ve only been looking at single sites for a few months, but I’m feeling like, wow, there are so many lonely, single people out there. Why are so many of us on our own? Is it because of high expectations and low output? That is, we expect so much from others but are not willing to give that much in compromising, cooperation, adjustment, and so on?

Is this a trend of contemporary society and will it continue so that in a few decades, partnering, marriage, and families will become almost obsolete? I think statistically there are far more single people than there used to be….it’s kinda scary.

great post.Add campaigns along the lines of "because your worth it" help to promote all the self abbsorbtion

Portiea: Favorite is like saying 'unique,' like there can only be one...but in fact, to me, a favorite city is one I would go to over and over again, given the chance, or making the oportunity, which would then include: London, Florence, Venice, Rome, and a few more. The problem for me is that there is only so much time and money for traveling and so many places I have not yet been. Many of the places mentioned sound like they should be my future destinations. Thanks for the info.

Yes how nice it would be to have the time and money to see all the wonderful places in the world, but if someone did this all the time then they would accomplish nothing else in their life, and end up being an un fulfilled jet setter dunno

BBC's online news website today reports that the inhabitants of the Greek island of Lesbos are to fight in court over who has the right to call themselves Lesbians,is it gay women or the 100,000 inhabitants and 250,000 expats from the island???...quote..."the man spearheading the case, publisher Dimitris Lambrou, claims that international dominance of the word in it's sexual context violates the human rights of the islanders, and disgraces them around the world",he says it causes daily problems to the social life of Lesbos's inhabitants
