HIGH MAINTANANCE MEN

*Takes an ice chest full of water and sodas for the wife and kids to a sporting event so HE can afford to buy all the beer he wants.
*Not only does he leave the toilet seat up, but his Mommy obviously never taught him to aim for the Cheerios......hence, he pees down the side of the toilet and on the floor and guess WHO gets to clean that up! Not to mention the wet towels on the floor and the dirty laundry laying right next to the hamper. And God forbid HE should ever replace the empty toilet paper roll!
*He critiques your cooking (reminding you how 'Good ole Mom used to make it.) Wonder if 'Good ole Mom' was forever cleaning up after him in the kitchen when the poor thing was forced to fend for himself on occassion?
*He spends oodles of money on his 'projects' in the garage that he has been working on forever, but then says there is no money in the budget for the kids to see the dentist, etc......

Need I go on???

very mad frustrated mumbling

Poor spelling and grammar......anything sexual......and those Neandethral type men who talk all about what a woman 'must' bring to the relationship, ie...must be open minded, sexy, fit, adventurous, loving and giving, etc......blah.....blah....blah..... but nothing about what they will bring to it. mumbling barfing rolling eyes

HJFinAZ: Show some woman that shows the slightest interest, and you can also see hysteria...

Perhaps if you took things just a little bit slower (Don't try to give her a full body massage and cop a feel the first time you meet her). And then quit yelling at her on the phone every time you called her.......she might continue to show interest.............. hug lips

mbcasey: DangerouslySweet...would you mind if I turned the question around?

What if you were terminally ill? Would you be able to allow someone to love you knowing you will die and they will be very hurt? Is it worth the pain or is the love worth the experience?

That is a tough question to answer. Right now I would have to say no........I wouldn't want to inflict that kind of pain on anyone. I think I would feel selfish caring only about my own experience.

But then again, my thoughts could change again tomorrow. smile

Zellarrone1: If it was a non contagious illness and if I was madly in love with them then yes.. I would start a relationship with them.

In my way of thinking all relationships reach the terminal stage someday. Either through separation or one of the partners dies sooner than later. Most probably sooner, I know if one has a terminal illness

Then again there's no lifetime guarantees if both partners are superfit..One could easily be suddenly killed in some kind of freak accident.

Even if the actual love affair only lasted a short time. The good memories would be everlasting. At least in my lifetime

You e a very good point here Zellar............one I hadn't thought of. wine

Always On My Mind

Maybe I didn't treat you
Quite as good as I should have
Maybe I didn't love you
Quite as often as I could have
Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Maybe I didn't hold you
All those lonely, lonely times
And I guess I never told you
I'm so happy that you're mine

If I made you feel second best
Oh, I'm so sorry I was blind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Tell me, tell me that your sweet love hasn't died
Give me, give me one more chance to keep you satisfied, satisfied

Little things I should have said and done
I just never took the time
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind
You were always on my mind

Strangest one I ever dated had 17 years of sobriety under his belt after over 25 years of drug n alcohol abuse. When we first met, I thought, how did I get so lucky to have met a man like him after 14 years of being married to a raging alcoholic? Boy, was I ever wrong! He had more issues than TV Guide!!! Aside from being a total control freak (he even used to tell me I didn't pray correctly at the dinner table), he used to call his mother for advice on how he should 'deal' with me.......and I didn't even know the woman!!! He was over the top when it came to how he wanted things done in his house, and if you made a mistake and 'made' him loose his temper.....he then insisted that you pray with him to ask forgiveness for causing the problem to start with!!!frustrated Only took me 2 years to smarten up and get outta that relationship! wow!

Of course............then there was that midget eskimo at band camp............

kurzita: Hi again sweet....rather call u that then dangerous.....

For the topic....I'd be scared.

Maybe selfishly, but I'd be extremely scared to thread on such territory.

My instinct would tell me to steer clear......

even if it hurts....

Good morning kurzita >:D<

I respect your opinion. Some may think it selfish. But for you, and others like you..........one cannot be too careful when dealing with matters of the heart. Some broken hearts never mend. bouquet of flowers

gingerb: Yes........

What does terminally ill have to do with love?

Love is love, regardless of circumstances, and always has it's rewards.

I agree with what you are saying also gingerb.......but not many would be willing to give their all to a relationship knowing that it is going to end in a short amount of time with them watching while the one they love suffers.

Just my thoughts on this issue...........

keytone: AEROSMITH - "Seasons Of Wither"
blues hearted lady, sleepy was she
love for the devil brought her to me
seas of a thousand drawn to her sin
seasons of wither holdin' me in

oooh woe is me, I feel so badly for you
oooh woe is me, I feel so sadly for you in time
bound to lose your mind
live on borrowed time
take the wind right out of your sail

fireflies dance in the heat of
hound dogs that bay at the moon
my ship leaves in the midnight
can't say I'll be back too soon ,,,,

they awaken, far far away
heat of my candle show me the way
seas of a thousand drawn to her sin
seasons of wither holdin' me in

oooh woe is me, I feel so badly for you
oooh woe is me, I feel so sadly for you in time
bound to lose your mind
live on borrowed time
take the wind right out of your sail

Incredible........awesome lyrics. So many people know nothing of this song and many who have heard it, haven't REALLY listened to the lyrics. My all-time favorite Aerosmith tune........Thank you for posting this yay

Nightperson: I would stay out of it. Saying anything to anyone involved will only cause grief that you do not need. Furthermore, I would act surprised, and be sympathetic and supportive of your friend when and if the relationship goes sour.

Just my opinion.

I agree with nightperson............stay out of it.......and be supportive. smile
