p_seg: A very valid point Morgan!!

The thing is most Americans don't post in their own forums and most of these forums haven't seen a post for months (yes the site does has a forum for each and every US state), and treat the International one as their own.

What puts me off is when posters post their threads using SMS/cell text abbreviations, e.g. gr8, l8ter etc etc.

Oh, btw, nice pic!!

Excuse me, Paul, but I don't treat the international forums as if they're only for americans. I don't like the state forums because no one posts on them. I like the international forums and all of the international friends I make.

Exactly! And you write in English! I'm just fortunate that this site isn't written in Turkish because I wouldn't be able to take part.

Good for you for posting! And you're writing looks great to me!

Claayer: Go for a walk?

Tell stories?

play Blind man's bluff?

It's raining, I'm exhausted from spring cleaning this week, and it was the best way to get her to agree.

Our power goes out sometimes when the weather is bad. I'll usually use a camping lamp or flashlight and read out loud to Em. It's so much fun. I love reading but am a lousy storyteller.

Give me a break, please. laugh

If you do I won't give you a hard time about your an and and's or your then's and the's. wink

jbibiza: Wow Trish... I'm really amazed, there was a thread a month or 2 ago about falling in love, there were several people who felt strongly that people have no choice who they fall in love with and that if two people really love each other.... that is more important than anything else.

I personally believe that there are very few women out there that purposely go after a man simply because he is married. Those that do, I feel sorry for...how bad must they feel about themselves that the only way they can feel good is by hurting someone else.

For myself if I'm with a man who is that easily led astray then good riddance to him. I'm not the jealous type, if you love me then you'll be with me, if you want to be with someone else then I'm not the person for you, as simple as that.

I know you didn't go after Haydn because he was married, but you met and loved each other in spite of that not because of it, I think you posted the way you did for the same reasons I got upset.

I respect that you stepped back when he wanted to leave his wife and refused to be a part of that decision making process, and I'm so sorry that you lost someone you obviously loved so much.

I agree with JB, Trish. I admire you stepping back and refusing to be a part of the decision. That must have been very hard for you and you had to show a great deal of strength to do it.

Manolito: mmmm
some things are easier said than done

I agree with you of course, more than agree actually...

but i have witnessed friendships die a lot easier than they should from this cause...

unfortunately, no one wants to believe that his partner is anything but a nice girl/guy, pure, loving etc. Its very hard to accept it when you are confronted with it.

I have had such an experience recently. I lost what i considered to be a good friend of mine. Because i told him that his girlfriend made a sexual advancement on me when he was away.

what to do? fly?

Its always the same, no matter the age. I recently told my daughter about this kind of thing. She wanted to tell her best friend that his girlfriend - another close friend of hers - had gone out with someone else during the time they've been together. I explained to Em that she would end up losing friends. They always get mad at the messenger.

Today - the boy that she had gone out with has found out about the boyfriend and confronted her. My daughter did not have to get involved, fortunately.

If I liked someone and they were a bad kisser I would try to teach them to be a better kisser without them realizing what I was doing, if that didn't work, yes, I think it would affect the chemistry. I like to kiss.

JB, I think everything I wanted to say while reading through your post has been said by others here. I will say that I've been in a similar situation when dating. He's since married this other woman and started contacting me wanting to see me again 2 months after the wedding. In fact, it's been 5 years and I heard from him again as recently as a few months ago. These kinds of men think they're invinsible and irresistable. I'm happy to say that I also learned from that situation.

I do want to say that I did not need to read your post in this thread to know what kind of person you are. You are a person of worth and intelligence, beauty inside and out, fairness and integrity.

I'm sorry that you felt the need to explain in any way. Most of us here, I feel, do not unfairly judge. And you should never feel the need to explain to those who do, even though this thread was not directed at any of those people who may have been judging you.

I'm just glad you decided to stay. I value your friendship here. hug
