Feeling sad and I am grieving

A wonderful man that I love passed away yesterday..he was an unassuming, gentle, non judgemental person who died of lung cancer even though he never smoked a day in his life.

He was a man who took me under his wing as a child and answered the question that many adults dread ....WHY does..Why is.................
he never told me to be quiet...
He took the time to listen to me as a child when I had no one else to hear the words that I spoke

God Bless
teddy bear hopr ur sadness will past, and u live in rememberance of his memororieshug

The focus from men is always when women lose interest well it can be the man also.
Not losing interest perse but no longer able too.
Well I can only tell what I personally know.

One man I met was only 44 years old his wife laughed when he failed one time and that was it for him.
He was not my type so I did not try to change this for him.

My mom told me that my dad was 48 when it was all over for him.

It is not always age that is the problem there can be several reasons.
There can be health problems.

But even where the man is healthy it can be all over starting around 60. I have met several men like that.
Yet there are those still active when in their 90th. Go figure!

Honestly speaking, just like women all men r different,,reading ur thread,,took me back to when i worked in an old peoples home, yrs ago,,,and not disrespecting the residents i wrked with,,saying this,,but some of the males where in their 70 etc,,,and still horny devil lol,,D'oh! and u had to watch ur back,,in meaning,,make sure u had another care wroker with you,in caring for their personal needs,,so i don,t think its down to age.

That is dead on! When my last long-term relationship (7+ years) ended so badly, I had to pick myself up from rock bottom in two stages.

First, I had to realize that I had a RIGHT to be happy with myself and with my life again; if I let the ex diminish my happiness in any way, then I was still allowing him to affect me negatively.

Second, I had to choose to trust other men; if I let the fears and trust issues caused by the ex get in the way of having any other relationships, then I was still allowing him to affect my life negatively.

Either way, I was not about to let the ex have any more say-so over MY life. That's when I realized that the ultimate victory was to be perfectly content in my life, with or without a man. Granted, I would still like to meet a quality man for a long-term relationship; I would still like to unleash all the love I have left to give, but until the situation is right, I will continue being as happy and as active as I normally am. so yeah, my life is very, very good. Point for me, zero for the ex.
thumbs up

Dear Heavenly Father, Healer of the Sick, we turn to You in this time of illness. O dearest Comforter of the troubled, alleviate this family's worry and sorrow with Your gentle love, and grant them the grace and strength to accept this burden. Dear God, they place their sick child under Your care and humbly ask that You restore Your servant Kayden to health again. Above all, grant the family the grace to acknowledge Your holy will and know that whatsoever You do, You do for the love of the family. In your precious and Holy Son's name. Amen.
Amen, to that, love and hugs carla,,,our prayers r with them all xo
