That's tough to explain. I'd love to bowl her right over with a wonderfull letter (which I am capable of writing) but as claayer haas pointed out, unlikely to have the desired effect. That mindset works well at my work. If I remodeled your kitchen, you'd want to kiss ne full on the lips when I was done, but we're not talking building here, so I'm utterly lost.

I think you should go for it bob, you might be surprised at the reaction

That's clearly what I've been thinking.... that there must be??!!

But for what? I have consulted friends in RL and get conflicting views, some being:

- he's recently out of relationship.
- he's after sex (long time to wait, ain't it?).
- he's remembered our parting and feels guilty.
- following his recollection, he's just curious.

And any others I haven't thought of....??

Whatever the reason, surely its just easier to let sleeping dogs lie?? But, yes, I have managed to get on with my life and, no doubt, he has, so.....

I may just go, dunno yet, but......... of course, I am older and, hopefully, wiser now!!

Thanks for all your thoughts, its truly appreciated, peeps!!

all of the above, just think twice before trying to re build old bridges

Sorry!!!

One of my ex's tried this, hadn't been in touch for years and when he did he tried his best to split me and my then partner, why wait for years to get back in touch? opening old wounds? or just re visiting what they see as good times (for whom) what ever you do take care of your self first and think hard and fast about what this guy is after

it has taken so long for him to get in touch, he most probably got an hidden agenda

take care Di xteddy bear
