Here is a poem I wrote when I was 16 that I won a free pair of blue jeans with! The store "The Clothes Rack" put a ad in the local small town newspaper that said send in your crazy or bizarre reason you want to win a pair of jeans and this is what I wrote:

My seams are a splittin'
My zippers are out of wack!

Help,help,help, Clothes Rack!
I'm all out of pants!

I'm all out of greens!
I'd sure appreciate your
free pair of jeans!

House With Kids

Wake up early
Been up before

Seeing the sun
And the chore

Of the house mess
Kids explore

Can us moms, take much more?

Cleaning carpet
Doing it again

Wiping spills
And dinners'chin

Of the food
Kids spin

Again it's morning, where will we begin?

Military Love

I LOVE you every moment of the day
At all times, even when you're away

My LOVE grows stronger for you all the time
I yearn for you again to be mine

It's trying I know to be apart
We didn't think this was the way it would start

Soon we'll be giving it our best try
Upon which our family will rely

So let's make the best of what we have now
And remember our LOVE, down to the last vow
