I see, thank you, yes the Spanish are laid back as the Italians are, in fact I think alot of Europe is.

But I agree, in colder climates, and whilst it is hot here, people do work more in the winter, because the winters are so long.

And it does get cold here, we had snow until end of April here, which I found tough, not being used to much snow in the UK, I did find it hard, but then within a week it is hot sunshine.

Short, hot summers and cold long winters.

I think one more year here and then somewhere warm.

Recession, I do not think the UK is in one, I think it will be anytime soon.

The last recession early 90's my mortgage tripled overnight and I had to get two extra jobs to support that.

I was terrified being 23 and a small child and a husband who had no idea what the word meant never mind the impact.

And, please do tell ..... what sort of reply other than "Thanks" does one send to a message that says "I enjoyed reading your profile"?

Actually - I do say "Thanks" ... and then I think they have had to return to their space-ship or something, cause they never re-appear! So, what is the point of the whole excercise?

Dear All,I have a neighbour, 30, a DJ who lives next to my door for 3 months.
He earns a lot of money, about 3000 euro/day and that's why he consider is alone here and make a lot of noise with what he calls "music". Loud, loud music. My walls are moving when he turn on the stereo.
I called police a lot of times, he continues to do that. I think he's on drugs.
Please advice me what to do in order to stop him?
This morning he wake me up at 5.00.Thanks,

Kind of yes ... I am still wrapping my head round the concept of charging people for something I have always done for free ... Difference is before I had an income from my job as a teacher, now I don't work and that is my only source of income ... Still haven't got used to anyone parting with some of they cash after we do a healing therapy on them ... Although no one has yet voiced any objection and we've been told it's a very reasonale rate ...

After 51 years of marriage an dating I'm starting to wonder if women really change after a while. My 23 year old son said:" Absolutely"
It seems as soon as you get "hooked", they start to "command and conquer". Then when you speak up for yourself and tell them:"It's my way or the highway", they start "sucking up", being friendly and find new way how you can be happy together...
Puzzling, to say the least.
Maybe I'll just stay alone and learn from my son

Hi Rusty alot of people are here for the friendships they have made and i think that's fine, if i got into a relationship i would certainly not my partner to give up there friends, think it's about honesty ansd making it clear you are not actively looking
