I've given a lot of thought to the arguments raised by those who seem to think that seeking God is a waste of time, and that the pursuit of enlightenment through science, philosophy, paganism etc is the only choice.

I've seen the critics assault the Bible, any Church, or those who speak of Faith, Grace, and Eternity.

They constantly quote any and all sources they wish, while denying any validity to the Bible. They expound profusely on the potential of Humanity, and trash any hint of spirituality.

If mankind, with evolution, philosophy, objectivism, science, and self indulgence were going to accomplish anything it seems like they'd have something to show for it by now.

proud that he has the courage to go there knowing that he will be surrounded by security (who would take a bullet for him). proud that he is putting others lives even more at risk. proud that he knows that it's highly unlikely anything can happen to him. proud that he comes home and takes all the applause even though he's never been anywhere near a battle - while there REAL soldiers dieing around him who'll never get the recognition they deserve. altogether now....... rule brittania, brittania rules the waves....

I agree i am British and proud that he has the courage and believe it will boost moral of the troops serving there. I also believe his Mother would be a proud of him

yep, it's a given that security would form a human shield around him but for what? his uncle (prince edward) 'fought' in the falklands war in 1982..........aboard an aircraft carrier which was miles behind the rest of the fleet and protected by a shitload of armed fighter jets. no WAY was any argintinian exocet/ship/plane getting near him. once again........simply a publicity stunt.

I agree with this guy.....sorta, if the guy wants to fight for his country who are we to say anything really??? unfortunatley i think that the only reason that he is there is to step out of his brothers shadow, and create his own path, the only thing that i disagree with this fella is, is that i didn't think that they still fought with bayonettes!!!!

yes, let him fight in iraq. he's a bloody soldier and shouldn't be treated any different from any other soldier. sure he's a royal but it's not as if he's next in line to be king. nope. he's just destined to be another faceless, useless royal living off the family name who live off the british public. if it were prince william (who IS next in line to the throne once charlie takes the great elevator) then i might have a different view since anything happening to him would affect the monarchy line directly and change the course of history. harry however.......give him a bayonet!

They did a great job in deleting his profile whether the others left nasty remarks or not. If i saw the devil right now, i would probably not treat him too well either. ( Yes i know he is not the devil)

There is no way that I can know for certain, the extent of the Prince's service, or if it is simply a publicity stunt. I feel that if a Prince is genuinely serving in the same capacity as the other soldiers, then that is truly a noble ideal.

The trouble, at least for me, is the huge and deceptive gap between his captivating oratory and his actual views.

The subtext of Obama's campaign is that his own life narrative -- to become the first African-American president, a huge milestone in the nation's journey from slavery -- can serve as a metaphor for other political stalemates. Great impasses can be broken with sufficient good will, intelligence and energy. "It's not about rich versus poor; young versus old; and it is not about black versus white," he says. Along with millions of others, I find this a powerful appeal.

isnt the purpose of going from premise to conclusion an exercise in rejecting eroneous suppositions - are you two saying the same thing differently

if you're scientifically and or logically trying to prove an hypothesis Mike, all factors must follow and be true, from premise to conclusion, for the conclusion to be true as well ... sorry.
