Feminism, that,s what. Sorry ladies,I know you are not all the same,just as we are not. However, I know personally a great many females and just about every single one of them are or have been unfaithful.

I said feminism,but in fact (without wishing to sound like an MCP) there are lots and lots of inter-related sociological reasons.

Many years ago I knew quite a lot of men who were dead set against thier wives going out to work.At the time I considered myself a liberal new man.I thought that they were dinosaurs from another age. I now,sadly, understand them perfectly. I lost both my ex wives to someone at work. Fact is they spent all their quality hours with these other men without all the problems and worries of family life.

These days clubs and disco,s are not the places to meet women. It,s all happening at work. It,s the perfect alibi.She doesn,t go out at night,just a dedicated mum going out to work to do her bit during the day.

One other thing which amazes me is this. A man shows his wife he loves her by trying to provide a good life for them,working hard,making sacrafices,trying to get ahead in life. Then some silver tongued shylock comes along says a few sweet words and she,s all his. To hell with the poor man who,s working his rollocks off for her.

And finally,since I,m on my hobby horse, I know of many married women not with one other man on the side but two and three!
In fairness I blame us blokes. A stiff pr..ck has no conscience.

.......do I keep rising to the bait?

Yesterday evening went out for a drink with a male friend. Absolutely not out looking for women,neither of us. Just out for a drink and a laugh,bit of a chat,etc.

Attractive girl close by starts giving me the eye. However,as it could be for somebody close to me I ignore it and look the other way. A few minutes later,there she goes again,and yes its me she,s beckoning over. Again I look the other way and carry on chatting with my friend.
A few minutes later she,s at it again. So..........

I go over to say hello.Touch her gently on the arm to signify that she has at last got my attention. She turns,looks at me like I,ve raped her sister and asks me in a very rude way (in Spanish) " What do YOU want?"

This little female trick is I am afraid all too common over here and I should have known better. Have spoken to Spanish male friends who tell me that that is exactly how the girls in Cadiz are. They like to play games,give you lots of sexy little come-ons and then knee you in the goolies when you give them the response you were led to believe they were after. Be warned.

Seriously,you all have a point. I give selectively. Die hard addicts absolutely no way.Genuine cases fallen on hard times,always. Believe it or not have just yesterday bought two bags full of shopping and given them to a worthy case,a wonderful person who deserves better luck than he,s had. In fact I was returning a favour somebody did for me many years ago when through no fault of my own I fell on hard times and was incapable of work.

Unfortunately not all such accidents end quite so humorously.Many years ago a truck from the local builders merchants with an on.board crane went to deliver pallets of bricks to a local site. The driver pulled alongside the perimeter wall then went to stand between that and the side of his truck to operate the crane controls. Using the crane he lifted a pallet and swung it sideways to drop it over the other side of the wall. As the pallet neared the ground the whole truck suddenly tipped sideways and killed the poor man instantly.
