I think that most people in a country like the UK believe that abortion is a 'right', but actually it isn't!

In the UK a woman is supposed to meet certain criteria to be eligible for an abortion (i.e. that the doctor is 'happy' that it is the woman's best interests, and that she is fully aware of what she is doing, and that her mental health is unlikely to suffer......not too sure about the exact details, but I'm sure you get my general drift).

I know that abortion was made legal in the UK and expected to cater for maybe a maximum of a thousand cases per annum where the extreme option of an abortion was a possibility and to prevent the trauma and possible death from having a 'back street abortion'.

Since then the number of women having abortions has escalated to a huge number (over 100 times the maximum originally expected I believe - i.e. over 100,000 per annum in the UK alone).

Some women just consider it their right and their own business and to hell with anybody who might dare question what they are doing.

Abortion is sometimes a necessary 'evil' - too often it is totally NOT necessary and it makes me feel sad. I'm not anti-abortion in all cases, but I do believe that 'the automatic right to abortion' does cheapen the wonderful gift of life.

Hey I been practising at being a grandma for 5 years now!!!! I'm getting pretty good at it!!!! I'm really good on the swings, the roundabouts, the slide, the football field, playing chase, water fights, ahhh! and last but not least they love "pretend driving" with lastic plates for steering wheels, boxes for pedals, umbrellas for gear sticks ... we've travelled/raced to the most amazing places that way!!!
