Hi Ken!!
You have just added the one thing that was missing from my daughter's life. Someone to love her and appreciate her for the amazing lady that she is. Of course, her two boys and I love her, but then we have to!!! Not really, she is just so easy to love and she loves us in return.
I know that Suzy was so worried about meeting you and anxious to meet you at the same time. She was so excited! You have no idea how much time and thought went into to picking out what she would wear for your first meeting. And those shoes are just incredible!!
She enjoyed every moment of the time you were able to spend with her. And when you took the boys so she could work Friday, that meant so much to her.
She came back to Huntsville from Wisconsin 3 yrs ago with nothing but 3 suitcases, one for each of them, and just a few toys for the boys. She had to leave all her "memories" behind. Things that meant so much to her.
She stayed with me in my small house I had at the time with her younger sister. Six people in a small 2 bedroom, 1 bath house!! Talk about a madhouse. But it was not long before she was climbing back onto her feet, got a good job, her own apartment. And as time went on, she just kept going forward. And now, she has a home of her own she is purchasing.
But best of all, she has you in her life. The only missing piece of her puzzle.
I am grateful for you. For the smile she has now. For the way you have accepted her two special boys. For the gentle smile you have when you look at my daughter. And the light you both have in your eyes.
Yes, you have gained The Mother Seal of Approval.
And I want everyone to know how wonderful you are.
Yes, there are still some nice men in this world of ours.
