In response to:
your bike has four cylinders and four spark plugs and four mini carbouretters.

All of these need to be balanced to emit the same exhaust level and take in the same amount of fuel.

Take it to a reputable bike shop and they will whip off the head and give the old girl a tune up.

She will love you for it!

keep her loved and she will give you that warm fuzzy feeling between your legs that you get from a good ride!
will do and thanx!

In response to:
the carboretters need balancing.
Then they will receive the same amount of fuel. Then it will be easier to start.
But let it run for a while before you get on it. They are cantankerous when cold and need at least 5 minutes warm up period before riding it(Now doesnt THAT ring a bell??)

But even so, its a fairly lumpy-type bike and should be able to stand up to the rigours of throwing it around. (Also brings back memories)
well, it is odd, you have to have WOT for it to start and then it barely runs, after about a minute, it smooths out and revs up!! I dunno!!

for a '92 and only 26k on the clock (depending on how much you spent on it) it will be fairly bullet-proof.

Keep an eye on the brake hoses (consider getting braided ones)
Get the carbs balanced and get a soft compound tyre for the summer ... it will stick to the road like chewing gum to a sofa ...

then enjoyyyyyyyyyyyy
well, I got it cheap, real cheap and it does need some work, as for it being original mileage unfortunately no, thats just where the clock stopped!!! hahahahaah!!! it does have a cold start problem, really hard to start when cold. I have a pic up on my profile now!

We call that a Fazer.

I used to work in a Yamaha bike shop.

Come across with the details ... how many miles, what colour, any extras ...

Dont keep the boys in suspense (or the girls in suspenders)

Im seriously considering getting a new bike.

Living near London, and having the Chancellor of the Exchequer double the road tax on my car has given me the idea that a car in London is about as useful as a fish on a camel!

Im going today to see my friends (previous emplyers too) at the bike shop to marvel at all the shiny new toys I could kill myself on!!!
well it has 26000 kms, white red and blue, it is all stock and it does need some tlc,, the guy didn't even bother to wipe the dust off or wash it before I came to see it!!! I just got back from a little test run and it rides nice but is kinda cramped!!!

I really hope you don't intend on riding it yet! I don't mean taking it for a spin (impossible not to), but actually riding it!
The roads aren't ready for bikes yet.
Trust me, I have the scars to prove it!
I'm not your mother, and I'm not trying to tell you what to do, but PLEASE be careful!!!
I've buried a couple of friends due to accidents and know full well what the machines are capable of.
Andre, PLEASE be careful!!!
I will be careful, and I will also be wearing the right equipment when I do ride itgrin
