The one good thing about Spanish families is the support system.

I don't know if I'll be able to see her tomorrow as we are making a stop over at my parent's house in the same village on our way up to Barcelona. We'll be too late for the funeral ...

May be we'll be able to see her on our way back ...

Tonight I found out some very sad news ...

A cousin of mine in her late forties who has spent her adult life looking after her parents including their business which she has been running for years now ...

She had never really had time for romance much + she had not found the right one anyhow.
She finally met her match about 2 years ago or so ...
They decided to start a family in spite of her age, they married and they had a baby who was born in June.

The sad part is that while she was pregnant they discovered that her husband had stomach cancer. He quickly became very ill. I have just found out that he has passed away and his funeral is tomorrow. Their baby is 3 months old.

My heart goes out to my cousin. I can't even begin to imagine the heartache she must be going through ... crying

Sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo guys don't sweat the small stuff!!!!!! It spoils what would otherwise be a beautiful day and we never know what's around the corner!!!

I trained as a travel agent ...

moved abroad ...

ended up working as a bi-lingual teacher in the secondary sector, then continued Uni studies for the qualifications ...
