I heard it differently

2 guys go to st peter at the same time but there is only room for one in heaven. both are equally qualified. One man was mozart and st peter wanted to see him in. so he said "whoever has the best poem with timbuktu in it goes to heaven.

mozart: two strangers standing in the sand, gazing at a far off land, a caravan comes into view, destination timbuktu.

joe: Tim and I a fishin we went, we saw three women in the tent. since they were three and we were few I bucked one and timbuktu.

A while back I had someone on here message me and we started talking. We talked for about a month before it started rolling into a scam. A girl stranded in africa...asking for money, then asking for checks to be cashed and money sent...Anyway, I know that was a scam, I got them to confess. I just had someone with a same story of being stranded in africa, but this one was because of a wedding with the groom dying in a freak car accident in africa right after the wedding. Now she's stranded....


how do you handle messages like that?

not at all. I rarely come to the forums (though I'm hardly new here) but on ears of someone who doesn't know you it sounds a little crude. However, you instantly had a fan jump to your defense, so I'm thinking you've earned the right to throw crude humor around. Sorry I came off as offended.

hell, my top photo was taken with a top of the line camera in parrot jungle island enjoying a vacation to the max...yet I still have a 5.5 score. tell me my big nose ain't got anything to do with that....

but if we're only voting on the quality of the photograph then there are a lot of top rated that wouldn't be there, though i feel most deserve to be. Someone puts on a nice outfit to impress, wears a big smile and/or takes a photo of themselves doing something they enjoy, but take the photo with a shitty camera, still deserve a high score.

I see a lot of advice to stay out of it or to get involved without her knowing it's you. I disagree with all of that. My friends know that they can trust me to tell them the truth no matter what. If one of my friends is making mistakes in their life and they seem to be the only one that doesn't know it I will sit down and talk to them. The alternative is to talk to 40 strangers about her situation instead of her and I think that is being disloyal. At all cost you should feel you can and have to be honest with your friends and loved ones. even when it is hard or hurts. Just break it to her easy and support her in her decision.
