I really didn't mean to make my post sound so militant - but when I read it back...
I agree - fun and games! Let's all get along - there's too much to enjoy...

so let me get this straight

ladies don't like liars cheaters etc but when it comes to keeping the peace they expect , if not DEMAND, that we lie, cheat etc. to give the impression they are right, dont look fat in those jeans (or is it genes), understand, care, etc. ?

well that clears things up heaps, i dont know why men haven't worked it out before..................... oh hang on there are a few that worked it out, they are now gay, and probably for the sake of remaining sane

Here, Here.
I was going to write something to the post, quoted by this quote, but just thought - what the hell!
There seems to be a smug assumption by women that there is something inherently wrong with men (always), and that the reverse bashing of men is an ok thing to do - and funny - and acceptable!? The fact is women have been hurt by men - and men have been hurt by women (ever read the statistics on female to male violence around the world?) None of it is acceptable - we are all human - and the longer this kind of 'us and them' attitude keeps going, the longer the problem will stay around. Anyone get it?!

It's funny, and a pity, that the same ridicule and deprecation is not applied to the 'factual'? information being posted here for this quessie. You look old enough to know better than to resort to this diversionary behaviour - obvious and transparent my friend.

Interesting assumption of the nature of words.

Define 'proof', define 'hearsay'!?

Proof seems to be anything you will accept as 'reasonable' within your system of belief/s.

While we're at it, define 'reasonable'!

Define any clever (but transparent) definition of any reason given for invading any country, at any time in history.

Actions speak louder than words, but when mere 'words' are 'enacted', and sanctioned by isolated incidents (incidents which, by the way, were not spontaneous and unprovoked), we have a dangerous situation on the planet where, verily, anything can be justified. Even the contravention of a Commandment - thou shalt not kill; commandments which these leaders are trying to make the world believe they actually follow. This is the definition of hypocrisy. Talk the talk...and...who cares about the walk!
Anger, frustration and grief, caused by anything will always produce division. This can be a powerful tool used in the wrong way. Everyone needs to understand that, human nature, has, can and does, justify anything, in the name of anything. Create the rules of the game, and if someone doesn't follow "...you're against 'US'!". Change the rules and you're not paying attention! You need a smack on the bottom, go to your corner, no dinner tonite.

Get Real

I used to live in a house that had several 'hot spots'. One of these spots was in a small cupboard in my room (which I had just moved into). In one of my storage boxes, in the cupboard, was an old double bell alarm clock. I had been given it by an uncle several years earlier. It had ceased to work as either a clock or an alarm, but still retained memories for me. On one of the first nights in my new house, around midnight, the alarm went off - as if fully wound! I was totally freaked out!
The winders on this clock had ceased to wind years before - in fact they were stuck fast in the completely unwound position!
What made them wind up and ring?

In the same house, an aged man, would follow you round the hallways - usually when you went to the toilet! Sometimes appearing, sometimes just swishing curtains and things. Always annoying.

A person can learn sound ways of good intention without getting a belief in God.

But we debate if the God is real and accept the wisedom of fools.

By this I mean people will get others to do things that they think are their idea.

I have done this for other people myself. I would give thoughts to people so they would think them, solve a problem in front of others so they can look good in the eyes of others. The person never knows I did it for them.

Seek smart sound thinking that produces a good life. Not matter where it comes from. Don't let people give you a chioce of one or the other by controlling your thinking. A plot seen is a useless plot and lets you see thousands of choices....even the choice of the need to make a choice in the first place.

Seek wisdom.....the rest is up to you as to your belief.

This para. is a huge statement which reflects the most up-to-date scientific research. I don't normally believe in Science per se, but, this community is, now, constantly revising what it believes is actually going on around us.

The result is distilled in five small words...

Whatever you believe,
is true.

Cheers people, this is a great thread.

It's really unfortunate that women and/or men have this deformed idea of what 'men/women are really like'. Seems like you are all attracted to this style and have never learnt to put two and two together and steer clear of this style of person. (because , you seem to be getting the same result) To finish off - idleness is not merely a male quality. I have known a lot of lazy women.
Peace.

No, man I didn't mean that. Wow, you really do know about my reality! You have a handle on everything that goes on around here!

What utter presumption. Scientists, and/or all who run with this crowd, should stick to their fudged and faulty statistical 'evidence' and not presume to have the secret to reality.

You better do some serious Research ,before you do anymore Drugs.
You're in a Danger-Zone!
Then Look up Marijuana-Induced Psychosis.

Research, indeed, does not show, that everyone (100%) of researched subjects, or otherwise, are, will and do, become psychotic or have these episodes! Similarly, nicotine has never been able to produce these results! If so, all smokers would contract lung cancer, and all non-smokers would not. 'Passive smoking' was invented by lobby groups to push their barrow. Passive smoking does not take into account all other material which is breathed in through the lungs, and indeed, the results of lung cancer show that this is more likely to be the case. Some people cannot eat peanut butter, does this mean we should ban peanut butter - this actually causes death!

Is alcohol a viable alternative? For me definitely not. It is interesting, given the kind of numbers of deaths and related deaths, (and/or) social problems attributed to alcohol, that it is not banned by all countries around the world. (i am not a teetotaller!)

Are we living in an upside down world?
