AudrysSis: At the risk of appearing impolite (leaving a 4th post on this thread, in a row!), I just thought I'd say that the guys that only want to boast their knowledge of such words as "privet" & "spasibo" and insist on wearing their red "CCCP" T-shirt when coming off the plane at Sheremetyevo, are BOUND to attract only idiots and scammers. Whereas the ones that take their time to REALLY get to know this vast and ancient culture, might just find their true gem there. My Mom is Russian (living most of her life in the Baltic States though) and she's one of the most amazing ladies I know, speaking several languages, teaching languages, translating poetry, practising bellydance and looking drop dead gorgeous at 57, and a lot more than that. But I know for a fact that she'd hardly be interested in giving some of the narrow-minded people here a second look, no matter which country they came from, LOL.
