I see people being blown around by the forum wind like so much pollen on a gusty day. Why not just post your own thoughts and see where it leads? Have you nothing serious to talk about? Are you only capable of responding to the thoughts of others? Have you no creativity or direction in your life?
Today I made arrangements with a nearby college to use their computers to download some video courses from MIT. Isn't' that exciting? I think so. This may seem trivial to many, but this is a huge part of what my life is about.
Today I also got out my motorcycle out from winter storage. Unfortunately the battery is dead and I'm trying to rejuvenate it. I may need to spring for a new battery. How disgusting is that? (ha ha)
Today I practiced my violin and realized that even though I've been playing for over a year I still suck pretty bad. However, on the bright side, I'm still a million times better than I was the day I first started. ;o)
Today, I ate out at a fast food restaurant and sat in the parking lot facing the college and watched all the girlies walk by in shorts. Ain't life sweet? I noticed that everyone of them, without exception, had a cell phone stuck against the side of her face. Do people ever have any alone-time anymore?
Today, I started back on anti-depressant because I was feeling suicidal. Ain't life sweet that we can take a silly pill so as not to feel suicidal anymore. The damn thing actually works too!
Today, I started cleaning up my kitchen and gave up because I'm sick of living alone. Ok I realize that this has nothing at all to do with how clean a kitchen should be, by hey, any excuse for nothing having to clean it is better than none right?
Today, I wrote this long boring post on the forums because there wasn't anything else interesting to respond to. Aren't I creative?
Today, I'm working on tuning up one of my pianos. It's a slow process for reasons that I won't bother to go into, but if I get another octave done today that will be great.
Today, I'm cleaning off a large round Oak table just for the sole purpose of doing mathematics and physics calculations. Isn't that cool???
Today, I'm dreaming about buying some blackboards to set up so I can make educational videos of my own. Hey, we're all allowed to dream aren't we? Besides, maybe someday I'll actually do it and then I can say that I made a dream come true.
