I have a few minutes ago in the news on tv an unbelievable report.
In Saudi Arabia is a woman, who was raped from 7 guys, condemned from a court to 1/2 year jail and 200 stick impacts.
The reason: The woman was not married and as she get raped, she was sitting in a car from a friend, who wasn´t the her husband or her father or brother. It would be a crime, if a woman has contact with a man who isn´t her husband or her father.

I´m really speechless. What´s up there?

Me, I enjoy it here. As I mentioned in another post, on another thread, I'm happy to be an American, proud to be a native Kansan and damn tickled to live in East Tennessee. I can honestly say that I love my life and I'm damned honored to be given the opportunity to live it in this great country!

No one has greater respect for the American Indian (or "first Nations") than I do - I've taken the time and had the honor to study and participate in the culture of several different tribes and, though I am of strictly Indo-European (read white) descent, I've been told that I am more "indian" than most indians.

Honestly now - How many here can start a fire with a bow drill? How many here can read sign and set snares that target only the animals you want to catch? How many know how to brain tan leather in the manner of Plains Indians? As far as that goes, how many of Indian blood know how to do the things I've mentioned? I'd guess that the answer, relatively speaking, is: Not many... But I do.

And I sincerely apologize for my rant, but I'm just getting damned tired of those who want me to feel guilty for being an American citizen and enjoying it! I can't change the past - nobody can - but I'd wager that I've done a darn sight more to understand it than most of the folks who complain about it.

Stuttering Problem
A guy walks into his doctor's office and says, "Ddddoc, I've bbbeen sssttttuttering ffor yyears and III'm tired of it. Ccccan yyyou hehehelp mmme???"

The doc says, "Well, I'll have to examine you first before I can answer you."

The doc examines him and says, "Well, I'm pretty sure that I know what the problem is."

The guy has the operation and about four weeks later he comes back to the doctor's office and says, "Thanks Doc.
