Maybe they just become that little bit more offensive when you reach your late forties and beyond.

that they think they would have something in common with a woman twice their age? i have been getting emails from guys who are younger than my 40 yr old son!!!!!!! these emails say they would like to be more than "just friends". i take a look at their profiles and see that they are only in their 20's or early 30's. it is obvious to me they are not looking at my profile becuz i stated i would only be interested in someone in my age bracket. i do not feel flattered by these children, some of them give me the creeps. i do not and will not respond to these emails and i have blocked quite a few of them.

if you have any thoughts on this you are welcome to post them, but i just wanted to vent my anger. thank you for listening to me.

It's a common problem for all of us I think. I used to get a little angry like you but now I just find them tiresome and accept it as part and parcel of being on a singles site.

There is a thread on the EU forum about age ranges on profiles and apparently there is a 65 year old man looking for an 18 to 20 year old!

So you're not alone, the young girls have to suffer the old wierdos too.

I will be returning at the end of January for another three months and one of my friends there sent me this message today which may give some insight into life for a Westerner in Russia:

Your sister writes to you about the best prime rib she bought and you can't remember what it tastes or looks like.
