I knew when I was reading this story that someone would be offended because the woman's weight is central to the story, etc. But that's the problem...it is central to the story and a large part of what makes it funny to you. I suspect poor Josh has not heard the end of it.

It's really difficult sometimes to follow all the new political correctness rules - especially before coffee. Sometimes people just want to be kids and play... I'm not judging either way here...but I don't think the INTENT was to be offensive.

personally, I find your references to overweight people ofensive. The story was funny in it's content...but certain references "barely fit through the door" I find to be offensive and insensitive to many overweight people!!JMO...of course!!

Ok, im new to dating since I was married for 17 yrs and now divorced. My problem is this. Women want to take it slow and get to know me but dont want any attachments. Im good with that. I guess the problem is when you are trying to get to know someone, that means conversation, dating, having fun with the woman so why do I feel like im being a bother. Especially after sex. Its like they change. The confution is this. Do they just want the sex and nothing else or am I being to personal and wanting to get to know them but to fast. Im confused. Im not a BSer and believe in being honest. Im no mind reader and cant know what is on their mind unless they say so.

I am going slow cause I have picked the wrong ones too many times, and want it too be right the next time. Thats what most women mean also when they say that.

Why do average looking guy's like myself alway's get looked at as a later option. Their are women that 5 years ago wouldnt give me a second look. Now later in life when they have gotten done wrong and heart broken. The average guy with a good heart all of a sudden is now an option. Why not give the average guy with a good heart a shot before they get their heart broken. Guess what im sayin is the avg guy's with good heart's. typically end up getting women with baggage. Because the women half to get hurt before they notice the average guy who knows how to treat a women.

I have a living will, though it's in New Hampshire( so if you suspect i'm croaking it here, do let them know!!) and nothing terrifies me more than being stuck in a body that i can't control, hold my kids, in incurable pain etc, and having no say in whether i live or die. no one shoudl have control over whether I live or die, other than me. ( please don't say God- if he was on my side, would I be in that situation?)ooh!! controversial!!

as a district nurse who regularly loks after the terminally ill in the latter stages I have much more to say about this but want to think it through first!!
