In the past 15 years I've moved 8 times... My ass is parked for good now... Each time I "thinned out" stuff...but some things seem to have a life of their own.

Last fall I went thru old records and had a "firepit" burning....divorce papers...and records that dated back to the 80's.

The divorce binders are still packed in the box. Wondering when it'll be safe to toss em....it's been 10 years...lol

any way whats wrong with you setting one up or even just suggesting it to your pastor ??

Been there, done that while I was married....we were youth directors, head of the young marrieds class....not really something I'm cut out to be doing. Would also be another reason for belonging to a large church...lol

Oh man, that is some serious heat wave....hope you have air conditioning....

I knew that...lol (no one's ever serious towards me anyway..lol)

So far the a/c is still working, but the unit at work is questionable...Friday it started blowing hot air about 5:00 (think it was trying to tell us to go home?) and the office got up to 83 (not good)...hopefully it'll be done with it's tantrum tomorrow laugh

okay....

Hi hrt4lse How is the weather up there in NorCal? Thanks for standing me up in San Francisco that one weekend...it's okay, I hooked up with some 6 foot 5 transvestite... I thought I kissed a girl...but I liked it all summer long...

What weekend??? When??? I don't stand people up so you must've made the arrangements with someone else dunno

We've been having another heat wave up here. Last week we were up into the 112 for a few days. Today they're saying 102. It's 8:44am & 72 right now. This week is supposed to be cooler (in the 90's).

*thinking I should've pushed harder to meet...would've put the transvestite to shame* angel devil

first I'll share this, a couple of people have used this ploy to get me to attend church. I am not ready nor do I want marriage ...at this time anyway.

What I currently "think" I want is all the nuances of a relationship without the bindings of the religious description of a good relationship.
That meaning being "marriage minded ".

would you ever suggest for someone to attend church to find a "good woman/man"?

I changed churches after I bought my house....I was attending with my parents & dated the one & only single man of dateable age in the church...after 4 months we broke up....so that was another reason to change churches.

Now, I don't go as often, and I'm in a larger church....more single men, but it's not really the best atmosphere to meet someone and I'm not even sure they have any activities for singles to be able to meet at.

But my mom has used the words....You need to find someone at church....and then I remind her of my ex husband (who I met at church) and the last boyfriend....and then I rest my case....lol

I have one and I do that, but after a while, I go back and listen to those songs for some reason... I guess I'll just ride it out....

Then maybe do the reverse...add those songs to your Mp3 player & you may just get sick enough of them that it won't matter wave

Hey Zee! I think dancing is all about the contact/intimacy between two people. You don't have to be good; just have fun and enjoy. Some nights I've laughed till I damned near cried out on the dance floor trying some of the steps to west coast swing! It's a hoot!

You can keep West Coast Swing....I don't really like it....I prefer western swing.

I hope it's not THAT important. I don't dance. Last time I did, a lot of people got hurt...

Not really....I'd say I went 15 years in my marriage without any dancing (other than what I did alone).....it took him trying to dance with someone else while on a business trip to decide it wasn't that bad.

If he was the right type of guy....yeah. Actually one of the guys on the cruise was from London and currently working in New York. What little time I got to spend with him, he was pretty nice.

Well I’m obviously not doing to well, it’s been years and still not finished.

There was a Ren Faire down in Anderson last year, wasn't very big, but they did have jousting and there was some sword fighting. Also a unique sculpture of a dragon using bits & pieces of medal (guns, horse shoes, swords, badges, knives, forks, etc.) It even breathed fire.
