Ok, im new to dating since I was married for 17 yrs and now divorced. My problem is this. Women want to take it slow and get to know me but dont want any attachments. Im good with that. I guess the problem is when you are trying to get to know someone, that means conversation, dating, having fun with the woman so why do I feel like im being a bother. Especially after sex. Its like they change. The confution is this. Do they just want the sex and nothing else or am I being to personal and wanting to get to know them but to fast. Im confused. Im not a BSer and believe in being honest. Im no mind reader and cant know what is on their mind unless they say so.

Ok...when did you become me? I really want to know...lol I've recently been seeing a guy who's made the comment that it's going to take him time to figure out if we're a match & soul mates or not. I've basically agreed with him, but prefaced that with contact. You can take all the time in the world, but without contact it's not going to do you any good. It's like pulling teeth to get him to commit to any type of activity. Even this week, I wanted to try and get together before I head out of town for a week, but I haven't heard a peep from him....

And yet, the times when we are together he's very affectionate and appears to enjoy the time that we spend together.

So I'm just as confused as you are help

I see what ya'll been up to while I'm suffering at the dentist. blues

As for sex in the hot tub....yep, done that.

Sex on the sofa....yep, done that....makes it pretty easy to be on top & leave the guys hands free to roam blushing

Foreplay (and sex) anywhere is great.

While the boys lived with me, if I had a date, they always got a mention. They've always been in my profile. However, I didn't date a whole lot while they lived with me, at the minimum dates would be saved for the weekends when they were at their dads house.

Now that they no longer live with me (and are basically grown) it's not such a big deal. They're still mentioned in my profile. The only thing that gets a little difficult is explaining why they don't live with or near me without sounding like a b**ch....lol

How in the world do you guys keep up with the posts on here. I checked like every 2 or 3 hours and there were so many posts I couldn't read them all before more got put on.

It is insane!

Some of us peek in while at work & like someone else said, basically stick with the first page & find something or someone that sparks an interest & only check on those threads & the ones we've made a comment in.

At home, if I'm just watching TV, I'll either pop in during commercials, or come in & spend a half hour or so.

Now....if my laptop worked better, it might be a different story....lol

welcome to the internet dating

one of women pleasure is to play with guys feelings

Whoa back there....lol This doesn't only happen to guys. I've had numerous times when I've set up to meet a guy and he's never showed up, never called with an explanation, in fact...never heard from them again!!

Not everyone is sincere in their desire to meet someone. Don't take it so personally Alan. It's their problem, not yours. Just keep at it & you'll find the ones that do keep the date. Then you have to decide if it's worth following up with more.

My house is new and well insulated but I don't have a chimney. If I had the money to have one put in or buy a pellet stove, I would be able to pay for my oil.

It will cost me $1000 for a tank of oil every 3 months. I have a hard enough time coming up with that much every six months for my taxes.

Then if you have forced air heat guess you'll be using that. Or just get a space heater. If you don't have pets or small kids around one of those radiant dish types heat up pretty good. I did buy one that "looks" like a wood stove, but it's electric.

Or you can go the electric blanket route...lol

besides me as to how they will heat their home this winter?I have heard so much talk about pellet stoves and alternative heating it makes my head spin.

If you do decide to go with the pellet stove, make sure that the outfit you buy the stove from will store the bags for you and make sure you order enough to last the whole winter. Around here, people with pellet stoves were begging for bags because they didn't order enough & there was a shortage of pellets since construction had slowed down.

Although I live in the same state as Robert, I'm in the north end of the state and heat is necessary....lol This past winter I broke out an extra electric blanket & sat under it in the evenings (electricty is cheaper than gas since Redding has it's own electric utility). I'll probably be doing the same this year since I replaced some windows this year. Next year though I'll be able to get a wood stove insert, I really only need to heat the living room (I prefer the bedroom cooler when I go to bed).

Guess I should add what I do huh.....lol

My business card says I'm an Administrative Assistant. The name plate on my desk says I'm the Principal's Secretary. I've also been called the Diva of Discipline and the SASI Queen...lol

Ok...I'll make it simple....I'm the school secretary for a middle school. I also enroll new students and basically everything else to keep the office running, including picking up the slack for the attendance clerk.

I'm also the school & district web master, and a bunch of other add ons that would make my title require two business cards...lol
