Unfortunately, I have to go to work.

Or I would be here defending my honor to the end.

Perhaps later?

If it boils down to those 25, there are more perfect guys than you realize.

It's the 25 that aren't mentioned that always trip us up. laugh

Although I have to sidestep the question, I will say this, weddings are a great date.

It gives you, and your date, the opportunity to show how well both of you interact with other people. It can say more about a person than how well you interact with each other.

Personally, I love going to parties where I don't know anybody. I'll let my date know that she doesn't have to babysit me and if she wants to chat with friends, to do so. Then I mingle.

Nothing says more about a person than to walk into a room full of strangers and walk out with a room full of friends. When everybody starts asking your date about the person they are with, they may look at you in a different light.

I once invited a woman, that I had never met in person, over for Christmas eve with my extended family. She was going to spend it alone at home! There was no way that I was going to let that happen, whether we hit it off or not.

I made sure she was comfortable and knew everybody. She said it was one of the nicest Christmases she had ever taken part of.

Anyway, never pass up a date, like a wedding, where you can show off your people skills to a date, it says more about you than think.

wink

There are people that like full dress hogs, patsy cline, low cut jeans, 80's music, black & white photography, americana, aluminum cookware and trivia.

And there are others who don't.

If somebody enjoys writing.......let them.

Who are you to be critical of that?

HeatherHoney,

I missed the opportunity to thank you the other day for your kind words.

Sometimes I want to strangle my internet provider, they always seem to find the worst time to go down.

Speaking of guilty....

There is a crime, that if it is attempted, is punishable, but if it is committed, is not punishable.

What is the crime?

I must be a lesbian.

There have been some pretty good chick flicks over the years.

Personally, I thought Love Actually and Bridget Jones Diary rocked.

In response to:
It doesn't hurt to take a hard look at yourself from time to time. This little test should help you get started.

During a visit to a mental asylum, a visitor asked the Director what the criteria is that defines if a patient should be institutionalized.

"Well," said the Director, "we fill up a bathtub. Then we offer a teaspoon, a teacup, and a bucket to the patient and ask the patient to empty the bathtub."

Okay, here's your test:
1. Would you use the spoon?
2. Would you use the teacup?
3. Would you use the bucket?

"Oh, I understand," said the visitor. "A normal person would choose the bucket, as it is larger than the spoon."
What was the director's response?
No, the sane person pulls the plug. grin
