DUBLINGUY1973: He could but he won't. I'd be surprised if he gets more than a few grand fine and a three or four match ban. I think Chelsea will just get a slap on the wrist and warned about controlling their players. They might come down hard on Ballack for putting his hands on the referee though.

Okay the ref was crap but the death threats were way out of order. Remember Anders Frisk a few years ago? He got death threats from Chelsea fans also and ended up retiring prematurely because of it.

I think FIFA needs to introduce video replays and get the fourth official watching the screen during the game and have him tell the referee if something controversial happens. It might improve the standard of refereeing and incidents like last night and Tuesday night wouldn't have happened. Of course then Drogba might be yellow carded for wasting time while feigning injury.....JMO
I myself think you will be right, you can understand the Chelsea players he was a crap referee, but there was no excuse for there behaviour,Frank lampard was the only Chelsea player to swap his shirt with a barcelona player

DUBLINGUY1973: I agree and calling the referee a disgrace at the end of the match in such a heated fashion won't help his cause either. I can see him getting at least a fine from UEFA for that. Okay the referee was bad but he was consistently bad for both sides. He gave some stupid decisions but he did it to Barcelona too.

I can't help but feel if Drogba wasn't diving so much (he went off for "treatment" three or four times in the second half alone) then the referee wouldn't have had to play added minutes injry time at the end and Barcelona wouldn't have equalised and gone through on away goals.

Some might see that as justice.......JMO
Drogba could get a five to ten match ban for that and chelsea could get a massive fine for not controling there players,Ballac could get the same
barf barf barf

ladyfingers: I agree with you, but sometimes it can seem overwhelming. He needs help before he gets so overwhelmed that he can't function. It happens, believe me. When you are too sleep deprived, everything seems so magnified.
Yes you are correct ive being up for 22 hours now ive being up since 7am yesterday morning it is now 4.56 am here

ladyfingers: I really feel for you. I've been there, only not with my mom.
Have you tried talking to the other members of your family? I mean talking, not getting all upset, a serious discussion....and are these younger children that you are talking about?
No they are 26, 21,and 18 so not young kids big enough to take care of themselves, too lasy to do anything.
when you ask them to come home to talk about things they say what time and if you say 9pm they turn up at 1am and they want to go to bed

bestat45: would your parents qualify to have home care come in and help out as well? That would take some of the burden off.(not sure how that works there)
Do you also mean to say, that if you were not there the four other kids would do nothing for your mum? Why are they still living at home then depending on their ages. Sound like they are being more of a burden to your parents if they are adult as well.
Hope you find a way to help your mum, and deal with the contribution from your siblings.
No because my dad works and we have a recession here and they say because of the cutbacks we dont qualify, which i dont understand my dad is 66 and he had to go back to work

Big_John: Sorry, but I have a different opinion on your post. I come from a place where family is the most important thing in the world. There is no limit to what I would do for my family.

I hated my Father, but took him in to my home and cared for him until he died. My Mother lost her home to Hurricane Katrina and she moved in with me and lived with me through four heart attacks before she died. My wife had lung cancer and took 22 months to die. My home looked like a hospital ward.

The point I am making is "family is family". I do not believe in caring what others are doing. I do not care whether others do not carry their fair share. It is how I have to look in the mirror each morning and night and to know I did my best to help my family.

The effort you put out today will be something you will never regret later in your life. Don't ask for things to be fair. Life is not fair.
I totaly agree with what you are saying and admire you for what you have done,i gave up working to take care of my mum which is 24 hours a day and its not easy but when i have to cook and clean up after 4 others that dont work get up at 2pm moaning about the noise in the house,
Eh sorry get a job get a life
sorry not being funny

ladyfingers: So, move out again and just bring your mother meals that you cook at your place. Would that work?
No because she needs 24 hours a day someone taking care of her,its 04.19 here at the moment ive made mum a cup of tea.
if i get 2 hours sleep a night im lucky and im worn out

ladyfingers: You aren't wasting your time. You are helping your mum. You said that she suffered while you were gone. You'd be worried about her all the time.
I know that but with six of us living here,i just feel a skivie and i will not cook and clean for others who dont respect it

ladyfingers: Gee, I don't think that you've gone wrong. You sound like a great son and very caring.
I know what I would do...because I'm sneaky this way.
I'd wash up her dishes and mine and then put them somewhere so no one could get at them and just leave their mess. We had a lady at work who did that when we were messy. We soon learned that if we wanted clean dishes we had to keep them clean outselves.

Good luck.
We have a dishwasher and they cant even put the dishes in to that thank you for your responce much appricated
