Equality... that´s a difficult concept with no easy answers. First off I´ll say that I am completly against affirmitive action in the work place and military. If a woman wants to be a fire fighter or police officer or in the military then I strongly believe the physical tests should be the same... but if a woman is capable of passing those tests on the same level as a man then she should be able to get the job and not be harrassed. By the same token there are men who make a more nurturing and loving parent then some women do and I believe they should be able to be a stay at home dad with out suffering abuse for it.

There are obvious differences between men and women but there are exceptions in every case and I believe that you need to look at the individuals and not the sex.

For myself... I love being a woman and I like to be feminine but I´ve been single for a long time, raised a daughter on my own and owned my own bar and restaurant. I didn´t have the luxury of turning to a man and saying honey can you take care of this.... so I had to learn to do basic plumbing, construction and car repair. My daughter and I hauled our new fridge up three flights of stairs, I was the one confronting the drunk at my door with a baseball bat. So yes I´m very capable of taking care of what ever needs to be done... but the reality is I´d rather make you a nice dinner while you haul the fridge upstairs... but we don´t always have that option.

I think the pets are great... I´m probably just overly cautious with the fishing and car pictures... I dated a guy years ago who lived for nothing but. I enjoy fishing and camping and tried to be a good sport... but when he promised to take me to a beautiful camp site called falling rock on the road towards lake tahoe and after 3 hours of driving pulled into a roadside turnout that had a warning sign "falling rocks" and announced we had reach our destination...

For myself I usually find that a man who is truly confident and comfortable with himself has no need to toot his own horn, the fact that someone doesn´t shout if from the rooftops doesn´t mean he has no ambition, no job and is embarrassed of his body does it?
