we are getting lost in progress
a city without out hope
we are sliding ever downward
down an ever breaking rope

take to the simple life
where fields are green again
and one cast see the morning mist
and taste the newborn rain

somewhere in our present
we have we have lost our way
and that is just one reason
why we just drift today

take to me to those hillsides
where the grass is evergreen
and I ll sit beside river
and simple pleasures seen

wanderers are out there
dissilusioned by it all
simple life and values
where morals make us tall...

it begins with a warm look in your eyes
over a cup of coffee you just seem to realize
there is something here that never was before
as the two of you make toward the door
suddenly theres something
as your fingers gently search
