brandycuba: I can accept others believing whatever they like, it makes no difference to me whatsoever. It's your life, and you're free to live it however you wish.
The thing I have a problem with is people trying to indoctrinate others through fear and consequence to believe as they do. It's preying on people's weaknesses, and usually works the best when they're at a low point in their lives.
I see religion salesmen as being equally as bad as the creep on the corner pushing crack to kids. You may find that harsh, but it's the way I feel about it.
If you're that weak in your own faith, that you have to try and convince others that you're right, then you have nothing.
I wouldn't agree that those of us who are trying to tell others about Christ on here are weak in our faith, we have something very real and only want to share it with others. It is your choice rather you accept it or not. The bible says if you have faith the size of a mustard seed you can move mountains, have you ever seen a mustard seed? A small amount of faith goes a very long way with Jesus.
Why can't you believe in yourself? Or other people? It can't be that much bigger a leap of faith than believing in something you can't qualify or quantify?
People are real, and right there in front of you, as you are yourself. Have some faith in yourself, and your own ability to discern good from bad, you don't need someone else to tell you you're bad, and are going to hell.
Heaven and hell are all in your head, where do you want to reside?
