Oh yeah...I've had to deal with this one!
I met my last (long term) boyfriend online and I always felt funny telling my friends/family that I met him online. I did though cuz it was the truth, but admit I kinda wish I hadn't told some of them that.
Unfortunately, there's this stigma attached to meeting someone on the net...like it's almost not as good as in person somehow. I'm a single mom! If I didn't meet people online, I'd have alot less people to talk to--haha.
I'd say, just tell em the truth--if they have a problem with it, it's their problem, not yours. If you meet someone awesome online, it was worth it for you no matter what people say or think.

Wow, so many words of wisdom and kind new faces! Thank you all for the warm welcome...I am happy to have taken the time to join into this online community.

Hello everyone!
I am a newcomer to this site and have decided to give this a go...
Based on all of the wisdom you beautiful people have learned when it comes to matters of the heart, please feel free to drop your two cents here!
Sometimes, we find ourselves with a broken heart and sagging self esteem after we realize that he or she is not "the one" after all...

Love ends and we move forward with a couple new scars.
What do you do to ease the pain...? Creative ideas and advice are welcome!
Personally, I think doing nice things for yourself to build yourself back up are priceless...how about filling the void with a new love? Bad idea or bandaid for the wound..?
