They are robbing you of your own expressions. The written word is so much better and helps to define us, kind of like a finger-print. If ten people use the same emoticon, then ten people become homogenized.

This message brought to you by, "Paws' against the whole world tasting like vanilla".

You're too much Leo. Glad I can call you my friend!

I met this guy while I was in Albuquerque and he has
a motto he lives by everyday. He said listen carefully and
live by these 4 rules: Drink, Steal, Swear, & Lie.
I was shaking my head 'no', but he then told me to listen
while he explained his four rules. So here they are:
1.. "Drink" from the "everlasting cup" every day.

2.. "Steal" a moment to help someone that is in worse shape
than you are.

3.. "Swear" that you will be a better person today than
yesterday.

4.. And last, but not least, when you "lie" down at night
thank God you live in America and have freedom.

I am not as good as I should be, I am not as good
as I could be but THANK GOD
I am better than I used to be !

Love it. thumbs up

This is America a legacy left to us by our forefathers! It is our country ours! but somewhere along the way we lost sight of who it really belongs to. Bush and the government seems to think it is theres to do as they wish they do what they can to proffit off her. If it is our country shouldn't it be the American people who prosper?
I know that at one time we were a country with Balls and integrity. We took on a super power with rocks pitchforks and anything else we could lay hands on! And we won our freedom. We became a true super power one that was respected and looked on with awww!
We became the worlds big brother, keeping bullies from kicking other countries around and taking advantage.
What happend to us? we are now the bully and we call it a police action? What the heck is that? If you need to police any country call Scotland yard I hear they are pretty good. Did the world ask us to be a world police station?
I am proud to be American proud of my country I love my country but come on people we are failing our selves we are failing our forefathers.
We have become whining lazy whimps.
Our country fought 2 revolution on our own soil the first for our freedom from the rule of Great Britian the second against our selves again for freedom! those people built our reputation with there blood.
America is in trouble and the only ones that can save her is his own people. There are to many things that have been happening that should never happen. And Yes I am from NY and I remember 9/11 very well! I remember the fear I remember the tears spilled by us all, I remember the anger we felt. We all wanted revenge. just like anyone who is angered you can't just strike out. Let the smoke clear so you can see clear who did it! Well the smoke has cleard and there is some evidence that our own government did it! I'm mot saying they did but there is enough evidence to cause a doubt. and it would not be the first time our government turned on us for there own agenda's.
The American people need to be united stand up and demand control back for our own country. It is our country the government is only our representitve. We have the right to take a stand against our government, our forefathers fought and died so that we could. we inherrited a great country but did we inherrit the balls as well?
If there was one thing that could have brought more tears to my eyes on 9/11, It was watching on the news all the other countries that cried with us for us. On that day the Queen had the American anthem played in place of theres. That was the day the world had come the closest to seeing world peace. Tell me America if you find one day that 9/11 was a plan by our own government, to anger us enough to let them have the war they wanted all along. What will you do then? Right now we are not very respected and we have no right to ask anyone to respect us. We are doing nothing to deserve it.
Ok I am going to post this now. I am sure by tomorrow I will be looking for a new country to live in, because I am sure I must have ticked off my fellow Americans. Are there any countries willing to take in a big mouth rebel American?

I agree with what you said, any suggestions?

If we are talking about a friendship, i believe that it can flourish over the net regardless of distance. And it will eventually be a more than real one. Both parties can live up to its *expectations* if they become good friends.

Friends make you laugh. Friends soothe you, comfort you. You have a nice time with your friends and they have a nice time with you. They also support you when everything look too dimm, they see through you and know when to be there for you.

Difference is, that some *rules* are a little different here. For example, it takes a bit more *being involved* actively with your friends, because the only means of communication you have is the words you type. In real life, you can transmit things without talking, here, you have to type. But your friends will catch on to what your mood is from your first post. Just like irl

thumbs up
