Lammycool: This question is maybe a little delicate. Not because of the question itself, but because of the background. Well, we all know 9/11, Khomeini, the Golf-war, Afganistan and so on. The world is fighting against the extrem fundamentalists. Fundamentalism is the adherence to the bases of an idea (thoughts, idea) or belief, in this case, the belief. Those humans stand absolutely behind the Koran, and follow it, word for word. Therefore may many think, the Koran must be a bad book. I read the Koran and I find nothing bad in it. Well, all big religions have their Book and for my thinking, it is a matter of the interpretation, how to use it. The "how" and "why", is not the topic. A lot of People said, what other said, or believe everything what the media tell. I think, to form a own opinion it`s necessary, to know what you`re talking about. I would like to know, how many non-Islamic People have read the Koran.
Ive had some of it translated to me and reconised some of the names and stories. It is very similar to the bible.
