From Sea to shinning bay
The world has changed in a very cruel way
When 80,000 people die in one day
And barley anyone has anything to say
All we can do is pray
That hopefully it wont be us one day

Hot one day the next day cold
Maybe the world has gotten to old
One day we might wake up and behold
And learn how to Embrace,Love and Hold
Hopefully a new world will start to unfold
We will all have to stand together and be bold
It might happen, when we stop looking at eachother so cold
When we start doing what is right instead of doing what we're told

This world is crawling with hurt and pain
Where faith has been punctured,destroyed and slain
Makes you think what will take us over....
Hunger,Disease,War,Violence,the Weather
Life is like a necklace,as fragile as a bead
We have learned just to follow and listen,by the ones that lead

Politicians,President's, and leader's of these times
Are just as guilty of these ultimate crimes
Fighting against eachother instead of combined
We get the warnings,We get all of the signs
Of what is to come but we don't read between the lines
Look the other way and cover our eyes

Disease and poverty is a problem we have in common with eachother
Looking into the future,looks like we will all be running for cover
Run and hide for a little while,untill it kills someone close,like your brother
We need to learn and embrace eachother
Treat people right like you would treat your sister or mother
Because after all we are all in this together

Getting lazy leaving everything up to technology
Staring at starving children on our big screen tv
Somewhere far in a third world country
Leads us all down a road of false security
With all the real problems looking us in the face,where will we be
When there are so many bodies, a river, a mountain, a sea
With so many things that threaten our way
To assume we will always be safe,that life will always be good is very risque

The World always at war will take it's toll
Untill it eat's away at everyone's soul
Hopes and dreams of the future are starting to fade
Like the life of one quarter in an arcade
Our soldiers,father's,brother's,Mother's,Daughter's and more
Are tired,overworked and very very sore
Sleeping outside no shelter, no comfort, no floor
The things they have seen have rotted them to there core
But I see no change , what is it all really for?

Today it seems the dollar is worth more than God,Family,Hope,and Love
We are going no where fast instead of living above
What is the big picture,could it be as simple as a dove
Peace seems like just an idea,We could all use a little more love
~Lets Change The World Today~
God created us all equal,all the same as one
In my opinion we were all beautiful and perfect when he was done
And be honest which one of us would have given our only son
That's right not me, not you, not anyone
Let's not take for granted this one life,live with reason, purpose,andhave a little fun
When we work together and stop judging everyone
Religion,Race,Beauty,Money and fame
Look around,we really are all the same
Let's change the world today so we don't fall in shame
Let's make the world a better place for our children, that really should be our ultimate aim
Because if we don't ,we all know WE WILL BE TO BLAME.
