I don't expect sex, or plan on it happening .... not that it hasn't happened before, but theres no sense in thinking about it when, more than likely, it aint gonna happen.

Much easier and less stressful to just get through the date and see if you even like each other that much. Relationships built on instant sex, or one nighters, aren't worth it.

For some, it may be a need to get over a feeling of failure, or rejection....by being able to interact and see if someone else can be attracted to them, it lessens the negative feelings a bit. But allowing themselves to get caught up in another relationship right away is usually a basis for failure.

Personally, I am not ready for involvement on that type of level, due to the recent past .... my reason for being here is simply to meet people from other areas and learn a bit.

Personally, even though it happens often, I don't think anyone should expect to find someone on a singles site, but instead, consider it a place to meet people you otherwise wouldn't have the opportunity to meet. Thinking of finding someone within a certain time period, or just within a small slice of the internet, isn't realistic.
