I heard and see innocent people die. I feel bad about it. If God exists, then why God let innocent people die? Or there is really no God at all. We just exist accidently by chance.

I am new and I have not really had time to go through all that stuff here..

Today I got a phone call to say that my very good friend just died.

I would like to acknowledge his passing and express my sadness of his very early exit from the game of life at a very young age of 48. You bought great laughter into a lot of people’s lives.

I have a thought worth investigating:

I used to have trouble sleeping and truly, thought it was part of aging. However, a couple of years ago my doctor suggested that I have a sleep study done...for sleep apnea.

I was tired, sleeping fine for about 2 or 3 hours, waking up, heading to the bathroom....(another symptom of old age, I thought)...and then some TV and fall asleep again for a couple of hours, only to repeat the scene.

I was so tired during the day that I often had to take a nap....Again, I figured, here it is, old age come upon me.

Well, I did the sleep study....and, although absolutely not painful, all those plugs taped to me, and sleeping in a strange place, didn't make it a fun experience. I was finally able to sleep long enough for them to create a record.

Yup...I had sleep apnea....stopped breathing about 46 times in 1 hour.

The doctor said it was not severe YET, and that with treatment, it could be reversed. You can bet that I immediately ordered my CPAP machine.....I don't need oxygen....it's just air. That was 2 years ago.

To make a long story short.....I SLEEP WELL EVERY NIGHT....FALL ASLEEP ALMOST IMMEDIATELY....REMAIN ASLEEP TIL I WAKE UP NATURALLY, IN THE MORNING......USUALLY IN THE SAME POSITION AS WHEN I FELL ASLEEP.....FEEL RESTED.....NO MORE NAPS......
AND
never you mind what goes on when I'm not alone in the bed......who needs more than 3 hours sleep at a time like that, anyway.

ASK YOUR DOCTOR ABOUT A TEST FOR SLEEP APNEA...IT WILL CHANGE YOUR WORLD.
