Why is it when you meet a guy for lunch or what-ever he expects you to be slim, young, and like a model, but, they end up being, real short, hugh stomach and balding. What is wrong with these guys? We older women can't look like we did when we were in our 20's. Why do these guys lie about what they look like but yet they are searching for a young honey. Go figure!! I think they are truly living in a total fantasy world. I'm going to be 62 in a couple of weeks and my friends say I look maybe 50.........excuse me are we chopped liver??? Let's hear from all of you older ladies, what are your views on this?

You look good for 62! Not being a man, I don't know their views and the way my luck with men is I am not going to comment........

First, don't panic. Second, very quietly, gather all your belongings that are in his possession (if any), and move them back to your residence. Change your phone number and move to a different, hopefully highly remote location...

Well, I have been careful not to leave my belongings at his abode as he often tells me there is barely enough room for his own. He needs to weed out that which is not used cuz he has a lovely log cabin on 21 acres on land that he feels he wants to sell cuz it doesn't have a fireplace...omg...and here I am freezing in winter in my humble living quarters. I think he would miss me quite the contrary to what was said in a reply cuz I do a lot for him and think he has become spoiled with my so called pitching in. He asked me tonight to pick up his grandsons from his daughter in this town and bring them out to him tomorrow and then said he wanted to keep the 7 yr old overnight and take him to the fair on Sat. Well people ....what are your thoughts that this favorite grandson will share the same bedroom even though there is another bedroom next to that one? I am told over and over he has insecurities ... .yak yak yak. In an earlier thread a month or so ago I brought up going to live with him for the winter....I don't believe I will do that now. Told me that after winter we will see where we are in the relationship...after going with him for over a yr don't you think he should know? Said I have a morose attitude....I never complain, don't whine, do my share and my friends dont know what the hell he is talking about. This thread, Ambrose, has shed a lot of light....thank you and for all of you who have read this and replied. I had to get this off my chest.......so many feelings and stuff bottled up and the cat just doesn't understand....teddy bear

Remember When by Alan Jackson....seems like the past of what was 28 yrs of a married life.......till one day it was no more....came together, fell apart and broke each others heart....
Remember When
By: Alan Jackson

Remember when I was young and so were you
And time stood still and love was all we knew
You were the first, so was I
We made love and then you cried
Remember when

Remember when we vowed the vows
and walked the walk
Gave our hearts, made the start, and it was hard
We lived and learned, life threw curves
There was joy, there was hurt
Remember when

Remember when old ones died and new were born
And life was changed, disassembled, rearranged
We came together, fell apart
And broke each other's hearts
Remember when

Remember when the sound of little feet
was the music
We danced to week to week
Brought back the love, we found trust
Vowed we'd never give it up
Remember when

Remember when thirty seemed so old
Now lookin' back, it's just a steppin' stone
To where we are,
where we've been
Said we'd do it all again
Remember when

Remember when we said when we turned gray
When the children grow up and move away
We won't be sad, we'll be glad
For all the life we've had
And we'll remember when
