I agree with all that has been said here... but I find the best way to defuse is to ignore.

I never look at a gilly thread cuz they seem to incite this sort of thing. He attacked me once on a thread that that was that for me.

Ignore the bigoted small minded idiots of the world and they go away...eventually. Give the benefit of attention and they continue and actually win.

JMO!!

You are too good a person Skimpy to be brought to this persons level!

but thats fine .

i know the basics of dogs and pups but one of my friends just got a girl from the litter and shes not stopped crying at night for 4 days ,so i need help and advice on whats best for him and us .
thank you

I used to raise dogs, there are two things you can do to help the crying situation. bring something you will leave with the pup like a blanket, pillow, cloth something to the litter site and leave so that it picks up the smell of the other pups and the mum. That seems to soothe the new puppy when it is moved to a new location. Alternatively a wind up alarm clock in a sock (protected) helps as the sound reassures the pup for some reason. I've tried both and they work... most of the time.

Good luck...get plenty of nylon chew toys, I had an American pit bull and my goodness he loved to chew things.

cheers
