I married a guy who seemed to be interested in so much more then sex, he actually wanted to wait longer then I did before we had sex the first time... His reason was he wanted to make sure that I realized he was interested in me as a person and not just the sex.

How can anyone put a price on a first date? Lets say 50. dollars you plan to go to the movies that should allow you drink and popcorn. But wait you really hit it off you want to see her again, maybe you should take her for coffee or a late dinner after the movie? Nope your budget is spent move on to the next date.
To tell you the truth putting a value or price on a date really makes a girl feel cheap!
I can tell you that I have someone who is comming here to meet me for the first time and I can assure you he is spending a lot more then $20 just to get here. He is traveling from Scotland to the US. But after reading your post I apreciate that he feels somethings just can't have a price put to it.
I will tell you this though if you stop budgeting your dates you might not have to have many more first dates, you might get to move on to a second or third date. who knows it might even go so far that you could save a bundle and she might even come to you.
