I think being busy can sometimes be a way of avoiding relationships.

I was "busy" for years after my divorce. I truly was busy, but I allowed myself to become so busy with everything else that I couldn't fit in a relationship. At one point I realized that's what I was doing, unloaded some activities/responsibilities and made time for a good man.

Maybe we need to make a thread for those of us who are so easily confused.....

I like this girl named Bridget. I feel like she is the most beautiful and unique person I have met. I see some of the girls that my roommates bring in (I say this because the girls they like are they type that get around if you know what I mean) and it reminds me of how much more intelligent and beautiful she is. This is what I like about her personality: she seems like she has her head on her shoulders, optimistic, intelligent, and funny. Here's the problem. I've asked her out before and she didn't say "no" she just said she was too busy for guys right now. She's in college and she says she is really busy. I believe her too. I mean back in high school I remember that she was always running around getting things done. Just busy. I don't know. She seems like a unique and rare woman to find these days. Please don't think that I am saying all women are slutty or unintelligent. It just seems like there are some out there that party and don't care about their future.
